Please check with MGW. I believe so, but I don't want to give you incorrect information.
  3. SOLD! - Race spec MGW & weighted shift ball

This is the standard profile, standard shift (not X-SPEC) and IS the new design.
  4. SOLD! - Race spec MGW & weighted shift ball

This is not the X-Spec, but I'm not sure about the profile. My receipt from October says: Race Spec Short Throw Shifter V6 / EcoBoost...

Same exact combination as sold on this thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61849&highlight=mgw I have not unwrapped and unpacked -- it's been unopened since it was shipped from MGW in October. Didn't get around to installing it and now I need the money more than the...
  7. need advice on making my exhaust better

The only thing about tunes is that they're tailored to the mods you've done to your car. But if you're not planning new to add cold air intake, headers, or throttle body, go ahead and order your tunes. Probably will be the best bang for your buck modifications you're going to do. I think it's...
  8. need advice on making my exhaust better

I'm quite happy with a Borla Touring Cat-Back with BBK Shorty Ceramic Headers. Maybe not as loud as you're going for, though. Regarding tunes, you can't go wrong with MPT, and they're having a 25% off sale right now on their tunes.
  9. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

Well, the Whipple tool showed that my Axle was still set at 3.15, so I changed it to 3.73. When I've had a chance to drive the car a bit past the break-in period of 500 miles, I'll update my report.
  10. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

So, I picked the car up today and they showed me the assembly they replaced. There's a magnetic ring around the bearing that's supposed to be flush that was recessed about 1/16". When they replaced the part the car was fine and there were not DTCs. Interestingly enough, he told me before he...
  11. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

So the shop tells me they replaced one of the Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Assemblies and the DTC was resolved. This doesn't make sense in the context of the above info about the BCM settings. Pick up the car tomorrow, and I've already ordered the Whipple tool, so I guess I'll see...
  12. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

    Standard.
  13. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

I'm sure that will update the PCU, but not necessarily the BCU, from what I'm reading. If it does, that would be amazing!
  14. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

Found this in another forum for an explanation. And ordered my Whipple tool, too...
  15. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

I have an SCT Tuner and adjusted the axle ratio there. Is there something else that's required?
  16. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

It's a long story, but the car was throwing a DTC after the installation, so it went back to shop on Monday. So I drove it on Saturday and Sunday only. I love the low-end pick-up, but it definitely takes a little bit to adjust to the new shifting patterns. I didn't see a big dive on mileage...
  17. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

I just dropped it off today and am expecting to pick it up on Saturday morning. I'll write up my impressions and share them when I get the car back.
  18. V6 gear swap from 3.15 to 3.73

I am taking my '17 V6 Convertible into the shop tomorrow for a gear swap to 3.73. Has anyone else out there with a V6 had any experience with this? I've heard different opinions on 3.55 v 3.73, but I'm about to find out for myself...
  19. No 3.55 lsd available in the V6 convertible with manual tranny

I'm in the process of upgrading the rear gears in my 2017 V6 Convertible to 3.73. Requires upgrading the differential (M-4204-M) and several other parts adding up to about $500 off of eBay, plus an estimated $750 to do the work. Or you could buy the Ford Racing IRS with differential pre-loaded...
