Just got the car back. Ac works great but it's louder now when driving under load with ac on. If it fails again I'm going to trade the car in.

Yup it was the evaporator core. I should get it back tomorrow by 2pm. The service manager said they have had about 4 different designs for it and the last one they came out with works and will last so I won't have to do this again (hopefully). Now I'm just worried about having a ton of rattles...
