Wow. I'm blown away. I seriously doubt that you will find another dealer in the country as good as Holman! Congratulations and I hope the fix is permanent.
Distilled water would have been better but actually, the correct thing would have been to top off using 50/50 coolant to maintain optimum freeze temperature. The little amount of water is not a big deal but I suggest the next time you have to add coolant, use undiluted antifreeze. Note: having...
Actually, being in neutral does matter if you are trying to figure out the source of the vibration. In neutral, the DS is not spinning! Here's an experiment: If you are driving (eg, 60mph) and the car is vibrating, shift into neutral. If the vibration goes away, problem is driveshaft imbalance...
Latest Consumer Reports reliability report on their website shows 2015-2016 reliability changes. Mustang improved in several areas but "Drive System" was actually worse in 2016! They rated Mustang overall reliability poor in 2015 and 2016 and predict "much worse than average" for 2017. I'm...
High pressure could be caused by clogged oil filter with defective bypass. Plus, from another website:
"A potential cause of high oil pressure is a blocked oil passage. This can be pretty serious, particularly if the passage has been blocked for some time, starving the engine of the oil it...
In this thread, JakePSD reported that his 2017 GT has DS vibration. Also, Ford SSM 45938 states that the problem happens with 2015, 2016 and 2017 Mustangs.
For those of you with driveshaft concerns, check out these comments:

Huh. I have a 2017 V6 MT on order. I was told that the 051A package was no longer available for 2017. Is your car definitely a 2017? How did you manage to get 051A and 3.55?
Interesting. I've used a Pela Oil Extractor for my BMW E46 for about 14 years. I purchased it after Consumer Reports did a test of oil extractors and found them to be just as effective as using the drain plug. However, they don't work with all cars. The suction hose goes through the dipstick...
I have to chime in with an endorsement for Discount Tire. Their people are simply better trained than the other tire shops. They are not afraid to have customers watch them work. You can also buy tires on their website, tires.com, and set up an install appointment at your local store for quick...
Sorry, my bad. Yes household receptacle plugs will burn up if you have connections that are not clean and tight. A loose connection that looks like a small resistance will dissipate power across that connection. On the flip side, if the resistance is high, you get no heat. For example, when you...
Loose spark plugs burning up is NOT caused by electricity or "arcing". The spark plug is supposed to arc when working normally. The arc is the spark. In fact, if the plug is very loose, you might not get any spark because the plug gets grounded through the thread in the cylinder head. You can...
Sorry, but you guys are wrong. Basically, the more resistance in the circuit, the LESS heat (power). Think of it this way, when you have no ground connection, resistance is infinite but there is no power or heat. The equation is P=V*V/R or power equals voltage squared divided by resistance. More...
Correction
When you have a bad ground, nothing happens because the circuit is not complete. That's why if your starter is not grounded, car does not start.
When you have a short to ground, that is when shit happens and things get very hot.
