that sucks. there are lots of generic head units for android 8.0. Is it too complicated to update mustang head unit?

I am surprised that the boot time isn't reduced at all with 7.1 software. I dont know much about android but shouldn't it help? Is it an indicator that the unit is not really updated?

I did email them to see if there is a video of the interface and boot up time but they said it is the same as 6.0. It is too bad, I was hoping that a newer software would improve the boot up time at least. I can’t find any reviews on YouTube of this unit yet. Here is a link...

There is seller on AliExpress selling Tesla unit with 7.1 android software. Doesn’t anyone know if the unit will boot up faster with the later android? Is the interface any different?

You can definitely change the date when the insurance kicks in. In my experience it is done immediately after a phone call. I haven't checked my rates but I hope for a bit of a smaller premium than my previous 370z. I live in Etobicoke and work downtown so the chances of meeting in the street...
