Hello all,
So this past weekend I took my Ecoboost mustang out to Road Atlanta for six 20 minute session on track. I figured I'd do a write up here for those curious how the EBM performs on track with minimal mods.
For reference, I am currently running a mishimoto intercooler, pre gapped...
It's come time for me to sell my Mustang to help finance a new house. I've owned the car since new and loved it the entire time. The car is perfect inside and out aside from one small scratch on the passenger side rear quarter panel (shown in picture). The color is deep impact blue and it has...
Hello all, my track day season is starting soon and this will be my first time running in the Ecoboost Mustang. I know others have gotten these out on track but don't see much on here about oil weight for these motors.
Anyone have any input for a good weight to handle the heat? I have run...
Gonna start this with stating that I'm paranoid. I recently swapped my spark plugs out for a set from Tune+ (pre gapped). A few days ago I head what I can only describe as a knocking sound under load at around 4k rpm. It happened when the car was cold but I've heard it again when it car was...
SOLD!!!!
Selling my 20x9 Foundry wheels. Have the stock Pirelli P-zero's on them with about 7k miles (tread pic included). Unfortunately they do not come with center caps (I have them on my new wheels). Located in Chattanooga. Prefer local pickup but will ship at buyers expense. Wheels are...
Alright, so I am tracking my Ecoboost Mustang for the first time this year at Road Atlanta. It is a base model (Smaller brakes) with the 20x9 foundry wheels on P Zeros.
Budget wise I have two options, go for a smaller/wider wheel (19x10 hopefully, but maybe just 19x9) and get Michelin PSS's...
Anyone have any experience with RTX wheels? Looked into the company, and they flow form make replica wheels, so not cast which is nice. CJ Pony Parts is selling a set for gt350 reps (link below).

Okay boys here's my dilemma. I have an ecoboost mustang that I plan on tracking 3 times this year (one Atlanta Motorsports Park and two Road Atlanta). I bought the car with the foundry 20' wheels on PZero tires (not my choice. No PP where I was in the right color/manual).
Two questions...
Didn't see a lot of pics of the Steeda strut tower brace on the Ecoboost. Figured I would post mine up. I love the look and the install was super easy! Overall the difference is minimal performance wise, but hopefully it will be noticeable on the track this summer.
Quick tip for the install...
So I've been looking into the different options for strut tower braces and see two that seem like front runners. The Ford Racing and the Steeda. I've found pics of the FR installed but can only find the Steeda on the 5.0. Has anyone seen how it sits on the Ecoboost? I would love to see it before...
Linking to a video of what I'm talking about, You'll notice the noise after I shut off the engine. Sounds like slight metal on metal contact to me but I'm not 100% sure if its the turbo or what it would be. Anyone have any ideas? Am I just being paranoid or is my turbo unhealthy?
UPDATE...
So I'm currently having Adam from Tune+ do a custom tune for my otherwise stock EBM. Prior to contacting him I had Accessport running their stage 1 93oct OTS tune.
With the Cobb tune I made 262hp/278tq using VirtualDyno (Not the most accurate but it's what I have as a gauge). After...
Attached are the gear ratios by gear for the s550 mustang. I'm going to try and work with VirtualDyno to get these updated in his software. If that is a success owners will be able to use data logs from Cobb (I assume other programs as well) to create dyno charts which from my experience are...
