Never did any of that, just bled the system as I've bled every car I ever owned. When I change each line/caliper, I pull fluid through. Then when complete, do passenger rear, driver's rear, passenger front, driver's front. I may use more fluid than necessary, but never had a spongy system.

When I did it, I just bolted everything to the car with the existing hardware. I should mention I got the calipers with the flex lines attached. I believe the rear flex lines are the same, but the fronts may be different.

Not on my 2015 convertible, but on my 2017 Focus ST. Found clear plastic stickers over the drain holes on the hatch. Immediately checked all the door drainsd on the Focus and Mustang. These were it. Worth a check though.

If the buyer and seller have a Greyhound bus depot anywhere near them, that is the way to ship. It's best effort, and you have to go pick it up, but it is by far the cheapest. I've used it a few times and it's been great for me.

Yeah, I stiffened the trans mount and put in a one piece driveshaft. Started hearing the clank like you. Popped under the car, expecting the U-joint on the driveshaft, but they are solid and the play is in the transmission. Guess the softer bushings and two-piece driveshaft absorb the play.
