I have the expansion tank installed. I have not had an issue with the site tube but the factory cap will only go on a couple of threads before it stops. I have reached out to Mishimoto to ask what to do about the cap and have not received a response, that was several weeks ago.
Actually he would be the second that I know personally. I have a buddy with a 2012 Cobra, that recently (after MB Mustang Week) switched from the Barton to the MGW. Said it felt more solid and he appreciated the rigidity of the unit.
Just had the MGW installed, recommend going to see George if possible, completely changed the car for me. Unbelievable how much better the shifting is. I have a buddy with a Barton, he drove my car and is planning his switch to MGW.
Took mine in for the same thing on the same day, just got a call that they got it back together and now a new noise has come up. They have to replace the Ring and Pinion and takes 3-5 days to get. Starting to get a bit worried that maybe this rear end specialist doesnt know what he is...
Fedex delivered my spring on Friday, I immediately installed...and WOW. This thread gave me hope, the clutch spring delivered! The clutch has life, its consistent, and the guess work is gone. Thank you!
