I would avoid McDavid at all costs. I tried to get a car from them just over a year ago and they were a joke. The manager made me write on paper that I was serious about buying that day and sign it. Had to do it 2 different times. They also low balled me on my trade.

I agree that you guys should do the install yourselves, as it isn't a difficult install at all. I did it on jack stands and it only took about 3 hours if I remember correctly. No need for a shop to do it. The most difficult thing for me was getting the damn rubber boot in place.

It's not bad at all. I did my MGW, headers, exhaust, and will do most other stuff, if it comes to it. Watch the MGW videos on their website and it isn't bad at all. Do you already have a shifter? When are you planning on having it done? I don't mind helping out if it fits our schedules.

I had the race and I have the PP with 3.73 gears, it droned from about 1700-2000 rpm. Outside of that range it sounded great and had a nice deep tone.

Absolutely no drone at any speed

I sold my MBRP Race catback and went with Corsa Xtreme. It's loud when you mash it and on cold starts, but other than that it isn't loud.
