Mine has been making this noise since I got it in May of this year and it currently has 11,000 miles. The noise starts after the idle drops and mostly goes away after everything gets up to operating temp. It kinda sounds like a mix of a belt squeaking and an exhaust leak to me. I hate to take it...

I saw one without the pony and it looked really nice. I thought I had a picture but I can't find it... I tried to take mine off to see if the grille bars had a cutout for the emblem, but I couldn't get my hand that far down behind the grille.

Lightning Blue reminds me of Vista Blue on my 2008, I cant say for sure that I would have comp orange if I had seen Lightning in person before.
