Thanks for the tips! It sounds like I need to leave the TC on at least on these tires and just practice more.
Would a tune really have made things that different or could it be that maybe the track wasn't as prepped as last time? I went to the same track in April. It was still hot, but now...
I have a 2019 Mustang GT (10r80) that recently got Lund tuned. Tires are Michelin PSAS4 (All-season) 285/35/19
When I was stock I went to the strip in April (My first time ever), I ran 12.7s consistently whether I did Sport + or track. With Drag mode, my tires did not like the violent upshifts...
Funny you say this. I was just reading up this morning on PBD and came across Shoemaker having his own tuning company now. Based on my research PBD and Lund seem to be one of the best and oldest to the platform.
I was considering PBD due to using SCT BDX instead of HPT for Lund. The difference...
Based on lots of forums posts it seems like it is not worth it. National Speed has great videos on our cars where they show power after each mod and you can see CAI doesn't do much.
Hey All!
I have a 2019 Mustang GT (10 Speed) with Corsa Extreme Catback and K&N Air filter. I am looking to tune the car but I have a few questions. I have looked through tons of threads and FB posts but wanted to get more specific answers.
I daily drive my car so as far as mods I do not plan...
Thanks everyone for your help! I have decided to order the 19x10 and will be running square 285s.
Now time to figure out the tires lol. Either will go with DWS06+ or Michelin Pilot Sport All season 4.
Thank you so much! This really helps me.
Since Iām looking for 19x10+35 as well on the same wheels.
probably a dumb question but I know sve 19x10/11 kit has +35 off set in front and +50 in back. If going squared you use +35 offset in back too?
sorry new to offsets but Iām assuming since rear...
Yup leaning towards 285 squared for now.
there is an option for 325s but thatās run flat. Although c8 corvette runs that so Iām guessing itās good performance wise but Iāve heard to avoid run flat on our cars so not sure if that would be a wise move.
Yup your 285 pics helped me come to terms with 285 because they look pretty meaty! Part of me wants 275 in front and 285 in rear but I feel like that's not enough of a visual difference and I'd lose ability to rotate.
Did you have to worry about speedo calibration? 275/40/19 is taller than 255/40/19 on my stock. I know PP1 does come with 275/40/19. Any pics of your car?
