Looking to pick one up for about $350 ... unmarried, of course
  2. Hit an egret the other day..

Driving home from work along the levee roads, my biggest issue is normally the thousands of bugs I hit, requiring cleaning of the front of my car every couple days - usually pulling about a dozen dragonflies out of my grille and soaking hundreds/thousands of splatters off the bumper and...
  3. Pretty happy with these times - pretty consistent too

Went to the track last night - 82 degree air temp, stock tires dropped down to 10psi, Levels IC, MBRP cat-back, Roush CAI. I through out 2 time slips that had horrible wheel spin prior to dropping my air pressure in the tires..
  4. Any Sacramento Area members?

Curious if there's many members here from the Sacramento area? I live in Natomas but am all over the place ... I know a lot of people hate the taillights - but if you see them around Sac, it's a pretty safe bet it's me.
  5. Any DIY solutions for making the blank deck lid finish panel?

I have an ecoboost, and want to remove the pony, but of course that leaves holes. I don't want to spend $175 for the blank panel, so I'm thinking about options to cover/fill the holes and repaint the panel or wrap it in vinyl... anyone done this? Or maybe a different kind of emblem?

  7. eBay fake Roush spoiler - looks good

I got one of these eBay spoilers for just $139.00, painted and delivered. I picked up a roll of 3M molding adhesive tape at Napa Auto today, and cleaned the paint surface with rubbing alcohol as well as the mounting surface on the spoiler - then stuck the tape on, and stuck the spoiler on -...
  8. So confusing! Waxes, Sealers, Glazes, detail sprays, etc!

many years ago, I used to work in a high end body shop and I was tasked with doing the colorsanding/buffing/polishing of the cars (especially the black cars) after getting painted - back then, the process was to colorsand with 1500 then 2000, then cut with a coarse wool pad with an aggressive...
  9. swapped a GT grille (and did the grill delete) onto my ecoboost - much better

wasn't a fan of the stock ecoboost grille - so got a used takeoff grill from a GT off eBay and did the mesh conversion (removed the honeycomb) ... SO much better!

  11. Got out of the contract on my 1.5 month old EBM

Alright - now that it's done - here's the scoop on the yellow EB Mustang: Back on 5/25, we bought the car from Future Ford Roseville (CA), I felt like I got an 'okay' deal - not great. About a week after we got the car home, I happened to be looking at the contract, and noticed that they had...
  12. Car seems slower after MBRP Cat Back?

Installed a 91 tune from Unleashed on my '16 Ecoboost Mustang the other day and have been driving it and enjoying it quite a bit... tonight I installed the MBRP race cat-back exhaust on my car - I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me, but the car seems SLOWER. When I first put it on...
  13. Getting a tune for the new EB - risks of E30 tune?

I'm planning on getting a 91 performance/race tune as well as an E30 tune to use on my new '16 Ecoboost (no mods yet)... I'm curious, have there been any known risks associated with running E30? I'm planning on going through Unleashed tuning for the tunes to put on my SCT tuner.
  14. took my yellow '16 out for a shot with the sky the other night

I traded in my '12 Premium Performance Package MCA this weekend and picked up this '16 Ecoboost (manual trans).. pretty happy with it so far - definitely a different experience driving a turbo 4cyl than the 3.7 V6, I'm still trying to get used to it - the turbo is kind of ... "peaky" .. instead...
