I bought this is mid 2016, used for about 100 miles and removed, the intake noise was too much for me. It's been in my attic since. $100 shipped in the 48 states. thanks, Dean
Congrats!
There's no smog test in my county, so I don't know, but I would hope the cat would last longer than 2 years?
I don't weld, I wish :)
If you want it, I'll give you a wedding present price if you pick it up. PM me.
Bought in May 2016, took off yesterday. I didn't know it, but the bracket had broken off. It could be welded back on. $100 shipped in the 48 states. thanks, Dean
2016 Ecoboost, replaced evaporator at 20K miles, I'm in GA. Invoice listed TSB 18-2256. Service tech said he was replacing another customer's core for the second time, with the same part he installed in my car - so I don't think the core has changed. He said to hope for a recall.
Took my 2016 EBM to the track for the first time. Mid 60s, humid. First pass I left at 1K rpm, no spinning. Next pass left at 1500 rpm, spun (track was going away as well) and slowed 3 tenths. Not much more in it without better tires. Fun though :) -Dean

Livernois 93 tune
C&P...
Sorry, I should have been more clear. Between your 54mm & 58mm inducer options, the lag difference can't be much, so I can't figure out why anyone would pick the 54. Thanks, Dean
I've contacted Livernois, I'll let you know what they say.
Can you comment on the lag cost of the larger compressor inducer? Is it even noticeable with the twin scroll turbine?
thanks
Very generous.
Does any tuner offer an off-the-shelf tune for this turbo for a near-stock engine? Or will setup require car-specific tuning?
thanks,
Dean
From running blown bikes at sea level and at Bonneville, you won't see much power loss. You may push the turbo into a less efficient point on the flow map, but not too much.
My 2 cents;
I bought a Livernois tuner because they have been tuning Ecoboost Fords since day 1. Their baseline tunes were advertised to add ~65hp and 80ftlbs. Cobb was nowhere near this.
When I first got it, all I had was a drop-in filter. They sent 3 tunes, one for 91, one for 93, and a...
What I love about this- I spent 25800 out the door on a base auto EBM. $1600 on a tuner, intercooler, and downpipe, and now I have a ~330hp/380trq car that pulls 1G turns that looks so good I want to wash it every other day. God bless America :)
Great, thanks again Brad.
So, back to the original topic - does this issue only appear after this hard left turn? On other parts of the course, are you able to get over 6K?
I appreciate the tips gentlemen. I will do some research and check, but I'm assuming that I can just pump out the OEM fluid and keep topping off the res with the new stuff. Most of my experience is with motorcycles, this is my first sportscar.
Great, I have a spare set of OEM wheels with new Pirellis. My car has a CPE intercooler, flash, and catted downpipe.
For a first-time track day driver, do you recommend any suspension or brake changes?
Thanks, and hope you figure out the hanging RPM issue.
