It is a gloss finish. Its really hard to capture with the camera but when they are clean, they really shine in the right light. If I take a picture straight on the face, the camera doesn't seem to catch the gloss finish.
Yes, I have a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the Airlift Strut locking collar. I think this is a hit or miss issue with Airlift. I've seen some who say the stock PP wheels will not clear but mine did...
I think it would clear without the spacers if I was running coil overs or a standard strut.
I think we needed the sun to set a bit more. Unfortunately our schedules didn't line up to let that happen. Here's one from the set that takes the glare from the sun out but there's still artificial lighting used for the picture.
