  1. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

They should give you the car back and call you when the parts are in. It won't hurt anything if it's just a pinhole in the boot, which is what mine was. It would be the same as if you hadn't noticed it until next month and took it in. Just a thought. You might ask the service advisor if it will...
  2. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

Congrats on the new Stang! Yea just take it back to your dealer and they'll fix it. The dealership fixed mine right up and never had any other issues. They replaced the axle shaft and boot.
  3. Aggressive Fitment Thread

Thanks for the reply! They are CF5's. I wondered if they will look concave. I don't know much about offsets.
  4. Aggressive Fitment Thread

I've looked thru several pages on this post but haven seen the offset in looking at getting. Does anyone know how this would look? Front: 19x9.5 +29 Offset Rear: 19x11+56 Offset Deep Concave w/ 305/35/19
  5. Cops knocked on my door??!!!! Noise disturbance

Are you considering the same exhaust setup for yours? It is definitely loud lol! Haven't caught my neighbor at home yet so haven't been able to talk with her. But I have been backing my car in the garage and starting it with the door shut for the first few seconds. I'll find out if it's...
  6. Cops knocked on my door??!!!! Noise disturbance

Thanks for all the responses! And for the crazy ones lol! I'm 46 years old and don't have any desire to argue with my neighbor or fight with her. She lives there by herself, well except for her little yippie dog that yips like a mad dog when she lets it outside. Hmmmm...noise ordinance? (j/k)...
  7. Cops knocked on my door??!!!! Noise disturbance

So my doorbell rings at 6 am this morning and a cop is at my door. He said my neighbor has been calling them complaining that I'm revving my car in the mornings (WRONG) and disturbing her household. I have roush mufflers and a x-pipe. No one would disagree that this setup is loud but I'm really...
  8. 275/40 or 275/35 on Sportlines?

I decided I'll stick with the 255/40/19's since I'm still on the factory PP wheels. And being that the car is lowered on Sportlines, I definitely don't want to cause any rubbing. Found a brand new set of Nitto 555 G2's on eBay for $306.
  9. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

After searching more around the forums, this seems to be a common problem. Planning to take it to the dealership this week.
  10. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

I just crawled under the car and looked at the boot again and compared it to the passenger side. It definitely looks like the boot where the clamp is at isn't sitting as far toward the wheel as the passenger side is. So maybe the boot has slipped towards the center of the car and isn't sealed...
  11. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

I couldn't see anything obvious with the boot. I wonder if it has a split in the boot and its slinging grease as it spins? I would assume this is covered under warranty. I do have Sportlines so hopefully Ford won't blame it on the springs.
  12. BMR Spring Install

You should be close. Try compressing the one a little more and you should be able to get the nut started.
  13. Grease splatter near rear wheel????

Anybody know where this grease might be coming from? I took my drivers side rear wheel off and can smell what smells like rear end grease. You can see it's splattered on what I think is the e-brake line and a bracket that's next to it. I've only got 15k miles on my car. Any ideas? See pics...
  14. 275/40 or 275/35 on Sportlines?

Or since I'm in Sportlines, do I need to stick with the 255/40/19 factory size?
  15. 275/40 or 275/35 on Sportlines?

I need to buy front tires for my 15 GT and am lowered on Eibach Sportlines. I have the PP wheels. I want to go wider in the front so I'm thinking 275. But I'm not sure if I need to go with a 40 or 35. Will a 40 have rubbing issues?
  16. Manual Transmission Problems with Boost?

Thanks for the responses! Sounds like I don't need to be too concerned about it. I don't abuse my car as it is and don't expect that to change when I add boost. And if something does break, I get to upgrade to stronger parts!
  17. Manual Transmission Problems with Boost?

I was talking to a guy at the shop the other day about my plans to put a Procharger on my car. My 15 GT has the manual tranny. He said if you go over 600 hp at the wheels with the manual tranny, you'll destroy it in no time. He said I'd need to upgrade to something like a Tremec if I went much...
