  1. Attempted break in-cost of repairs

Can cars these days be stolen with the safety and security precautions? It’s not like hot wiring cars like the old days or is it? I do not think it was a nuisance attempt to steal something inside. I am pretty good about keeping things out of the car in the truck and out of plain sight
  2. Attempted break in-cost of repairs

I think someone tried to break into my care. What do you think the cost is for a passenger side window that was chipped, chrome trim that was bent and the rubber door seal that was torn? Thanks
  3. Still happy you bought a 10 sp auto?

Me too. The downshift jump from third to first is annoying. I thought t was because that was how the transmission adapted to my driving. Overall coming from a six speed manual years old I am ok with the auto.

  7. Ford approved oil-air catch An?

Concerned with warranty issues. Is the a Ford approved oil-air catch can for Ecoboost engineer? I do see there is a Ford Perfomance catch can for the V8 engine.
  8. Pony package pic

For those who are interested, a pic of my new 2018 Ecoboost premium with pony package in ingot silver. I think this is the best color for hiding dirt and dust (black and dark blue no good) and grime (white and non-metallic colors no good)

  10. Automatic COTUS Checker

Anyone lose car completely with COTUS not recognizing VIN when previously it had?
  11. Automatic COTUS Checker

After no problem tracking for over 6 or 7 weeks with my VIN, COTUS now has no record of the vehicle. I consider this a positive development now that it original had EDD of 2/9, the moved to 2/28 and then to 3/14. I bet the car is sitting in a rail yard outside of Philly.
  12. Automatic COTUS Checker

My dealer may try to locate car at train yard close to dealership to find out if it was actually transported close by so that it can Be picked up
  13. Automatic COTUS Checker

How awful can there by delays, or how accurate is COTUS? From ordering car on 1/6/18 to getting a VIN within a week. Car was built by 1/28 and first EDD was 2/9.The moved to 2/28 after it was shipped on 2/12.EDD now moved to 3/14. So if it was shipped 2/12,why over a month to travel from...

  16. COTUS Vehicle Summary Accuracy for 647 Wheels

It is not necessarily accurate. My summary did not reflect the Pony package most likely having to do with the wheel selection as is your case. Wait for the window sticker and it will show your order. BTW, I know the owner of my dealership and I received VIN within a week or two from ordering...
  17. Automatic COTUS Checker

More like slow boat to China. Once the car is in transit status, the corresponding note indicates 12 to 28 days
  18. Automatic COTUS Checker

Good point. My car was built on 1/24 with a EDD of 2/9 that went blank. Today, I saw for first time that car was in transit. But it indicates anywhere from 12to 28days! The dealer, however, had other information suggesting it would be in this week as it received some document that the car was...
