Can cars these days be stolen with the safety and security precautions? It’s not like hot wiring cars like the old days or is it? I do not think it was a nuisance attempt to steal something inside. I am pretty good about keeping things out of the car in the truck and out of plain sight

Me too. The downshift jump from third to first is annoying. I thought t was because that was how the transmission adapted to my driving. Overall coming from a six speed manual years old I am ok with the auto.

Concerned with warranty issues. Is the a Ford approved oil-air catch can for Ecoboost engineer? I do see there is a Ford Perfomance catch can for the V8 engine.

Anyone lose car completely with COTUS not recognizing VIN when previously it had?

After no problem tracking for over 6 or 7 weeks with my VIN, COTUS now has no record of the vehicle. I consider this a positive development now that it original had EDD of 2/9, the moved to 2/28 and then to 3/14. I bet the car is sitting in a rail yard outside of Philly.

My dealer may try to locate car at train yard close to dealership to find out if it was actually transported close by so that it can Be picked up

How awful can there by delays, or how accurate is COTUS? From ordering car on 1/6/18 to getting a VIN within a week. Car was built by 1/28 and first EDD was 2/9.The moved to 2/28 after it was shipped on 2/12.EDD now moved to 3/14. So if it was shipped 2/12,why over a month to travel from...

It is not necessarily accurate. My summary did not reflect the Pony package most likely having to do with the wheel selection as is your case. Wait for the window sticker and it will show your order. BTW, I know the owner of my dealership and I received VIN within a week or two from ordering...
