i gotcha, im guessing due to high factory compression ratio. is anybody running race fuel in these things? like sunoco 110 or anything. i know its not good for 02s but i was thinkin like a 50/50 mix for a race tune
2016 ppgt. 7,000 miles on it. right now only mods are stainless works catless long tubes, 3" borla s type, jlt and lund 93 tune and some suspension work and dss driveshaft. im looking for 700 to the wheels, and keep it as suttle and simple as possible. im not real crazy about the big intercooler...
If not id like to know how ur making it work, I got sw headers the drivers side barely reaches the pass side is like a foot from bein close it doesn't look like theres any excess wire harness that can be had either cuz the wires for the plug look like they are tied into the injector harness
yea space is another reason im leaning towards 1 3/4. im jus curious how much it would choke it in the higher rpms with boost. doubt low to mid would suffer much but 600rwhp is right about the borderline power level where 1 7/8 should be had.
i realize that 1 7/8 might be better for a high rpm peak number with boost. no doubt that it would be better on a boosted app. but what about midrange where u spend most of the time in a street car. and i disagree about bigger is better. thats not true. theres alot more to it than jus a pipe...
so im lookin into buying longtubes and i would like to see a side by side dyno comparison of a bolt on car with 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 headers and then a comparison on a boosted setup. im thinking on a bolt on car the 1 3/4 may be the way to go i realize that if ur looking for a bigger peak number u...
