Try and keep the RPM no higher than 2k when engaging the clutch from a stop in 1st gear. All other gear changes, you should never be pressing the gas when your foot is on the clutch.
Keep hill assist ON for the first few hundred miles.
After you master that, think about rev matching down...
You choose between wearing the clutch or wearing the brakes, once in a while I practice the speed matching but most the time just coast in what ever gear I was in until the revs drop below 1k and then clutch/break. I don't usually go to neutral, keep it in a useful gear even though the clutch...
All of the cars on the lots when I was shopping had black interiors. It causes the whole interior to be extra hot in the summer, if there was one thing I would like to have changed it would have been to get a lighter color.
If anything the lights on 2016 are on the high side. I get drivers flicking their brights at me on a daily basis. Probably should go back to a dealer for adjustment but I haven't yet.
I have people telling me my mustang is too valuable to drive through a NY winter, but there driving quad cab pickups year round that cost $20k more so I don't understand. I might pick up a Nissan Leaf for the winter since the depreciation over the first 4 years makes a used one crazy cheap and...
My dog is family, wife and I couldn't have children. We flip down the back seats for her to lay on and avoid letting her in the front. Black labradoodle, black interior, isn't that big of a deal. We don't always use the seatbelt/harness thing, but when we do it isn't long enough to let her in...
In August I took my GT with the heated/cooled leather seats from NY to Yellowstone and back, 4500 miles. My wife and I found it the best road tripping car we've ever had, very comfortable. I'm 6 foot 1 @ 230lbs. Only had two real complaints, out west where the speed limits hit 80mph the...
I've seen the circuit board for a F150 with remote start, the circuit board is slightly different shape. I assume the automatic Mustang with remote start shares the same remote as the F150.
I'd considered either 5.0 or GT embossed Lloyds mats back in April and didn't realize they were canceled. All I'm seeing now remaining are Shelby mats and I don't think I want Shelby mats in my GT, I'd want front and rear mats. Bummer. I hope somebody else comes out with quality custom fit...
I'm pretty sure all the prices come out of a book. If your insurance is to pay for a hood and fascia they'd pay the book item cost plus the book cost to remove old, install new and paint. Your insurance is then out of the picture and your free to negotiate with your collision shop to install...
The car I traded on my Mustang had a quarter panel repaired. Because its welded in it counts as a frame repair on the carfax. Expect a hassle trading it in when you decide to sell.
Will I have any problem listening to the radio for a couple hours (4 or 5) with a Sync3 Shaker system with the engine off, or is the battery drain too high. Possibly going to the drive in movies this weekend for the first time with the new mustang.
