Well I put the Cobrajet setup on the dyno and it did not disappoint! 540whp/460TQ SAE. Shop temp was in the upper 70’s down here in southern Florida. Pull was in 5th gear 1:1.

So i took the plunge and tried the Meth. All i can say is wow!!. Anyone battling hot IAT's should really consider trying it. My JTB with 3.33 upper and 20% OD lower are really generating some heat. I tried the custom intercooler route first and dropped my IAT's from 165 down to 150-155 or so. So...
So i surpassed the capabilties of the supplied Vortech intercooler at only 14psi. I was seeing a 65-70 degree temp rise at only 14-15psi. Crazy! Vortech says the intercooler can handle 1000hp but my data logs say different with the car pulling 3 degrees of timing with my IAT's hitting around 170...
Stage 2 procharger guys. I have a favor to ask. Anyone of you running around 15 psi? If so, can you look at your logs and tell me what your IAT's are after a 1/4 mile pull or a log on the street from 1st-4th gear? Looking for the IAT temps around 7300-7500rpm in 4th. Thanks
