Took me 3 days while having down time at work to read from start till present. Awesome thread! Keep on keepin on Kevin!
Also thought it was very funny the thread started as WE BOUGHT THE CAR TO GO ON TRIPS WITH AND EXPLORE. Turned into MY RACE CAR WITH ITS OWN GARAGE. I love it!
Most of us on...
Is this the same offset front and rear?
I had these on my old S550 but in 20x10, 20x11 and loved the fitment. Thinking about getting a GT350 and if I do these will absolutely being going on it. Just need to decide if I want 19 or 20.
I have a manual trans Gen 2 stage 2 with 1 7/8" ARH long tubes to Corsa 3". With the 3.625 pulley and 93 octane. The car made 711 whp and 565 wtq. I logged it using my HPTuners. The car kept making power till we shut it down at 7600. It was around 19 degrees of timing and 12 psi. No throttle...
Depending on the tune you may not have it configured to give anymore than 4 degrees if no knock. If adding 4 = 17 thats pretty conservative.
I'm seeing 2 added for a total of around 19 with my 3.625" and 93 oct. Thats about 12 psi. ARH Long tubes no cats to 3" Corsa.
I'm buying a Snow Meth kit...
I also had to Advance Trac light flashing while on the straight section of the road coarse which I thought was strange since the car was going straight. It was limiting power as well. It was the yellow light on the right lower part of the center screen. Opposite of the Traction Control light...
I used the foam suggested in this thread. It seemed a bit long and I couldn't get it to fit snug towards the rear of the tank. I tried to get most of it on top of the hump.
Well wouldn't ya know the day before a track event and I fill up to find the float only goes 1/2 way...... So I'll have to...
Not necessarily. No fuel no combustion no problem. The rev limiter in this car and most Ford's cut fuel.
I'm more worried about being safe cause coming out of a high speed turn with cars behind and losing all power could end up getting rear ended or spinning out due to weight transfer.
This is why I love forums. Great information here.
I had similar issues at Charlotte Motor Speedway last week with my Whippled car. I have full Steeda suspension and R888r tires. First session was great then it started mid way through the second session. Third session it started on the second...
I did my own "sound mod".
I used the stock plastic tube and cut it as it goes towards the front of the car to a 1" hose to the middle of the airbox.
It wasnt loud at all.
I sealed up the hole in the firewall.
Waste of time as all I can hear is my long tube headers to Corsa exhaust.
