This is exactly what happend to me when I had my old car serviced. They replaced the key fob, and about a year later, I found the original tucked deep underneath the windshield.
I replaced my Shaker factory sub with this https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-SW2002D2-8-inch-Shallow-Mount-Subwoofer/dp/B00JQTU434
It's a dual 2 ohm.
It made a substantial improvement in bass response.
As an alternative to making permanent modifications to your key fob, you can disable the panic alarm with Forscan. You can also make it so it requires 2 button presses to activate which is how i have mine set.

I did mine with a dremel and a small drill bit (1/4 " or smaller). I drilled a hole into the corners of each honeycomb and then slid the drill bit sideways between the holes. The drill bit heats up from drilling and slides thru the plastic like a hot knife thru butter.
I had this happen last year. I had disconnected the battery to install a steering wheel shortly before getting the car inspected. After 6 weeks of driving the car thru many drive cycles, the monitors were still not ready. I ended up having to remove my PMAS "no tune" intake and put back the...
In order to fit the GT350 snorkel to the GT duct, you have to cut 2 slits in the GT duct as shown here http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/server4100/846b0/products/1702/images/2403/gt350_air_scoop_fitment_mod__71127.1460385009.1200.1200.jpg?c=2...
I use this https://www.gearbest.com/obd-diagnos...pp_216817.html
It is very thin and doesn't noticeably stick out sitting on the dash.
It comes with a reflective strip to apply to the windshield, but I don't use it. Occasionally, in very bright sunlight, the display is not visible, but 90% of...
I had a similar thing happen to me. It took me a while to figure out that it was the subwoofer in the trunk that was loose. There is a single bolt that holds upper part of the subwoofer secure to the side of the trunk and it has a tendency to loosen.
If you enabled nav in motion in forscan, the vehicle health report tab dissappears. Also, the Clock changes time.
I suspect that the nav in motion mod changes the region of the vehicle to Europe.
I've been using this bike rack for about 2 years and there are no marks on my car. I use a spray detailer to clean the painted surface of the car before attaching the suction cup.
I have an MRT H pipe with stock mufflers. I was very happy with the exhaust sound. Then I added a PMAS no tune intake and removed the sound tube. I think the sound of the car now is perfect.
I had a similar misshap on my leather recaros. A liquid spilled out of something that I had laying on the seat. The liquid had some bleach in it and left a white spot where it was laying on the leather.
I cleaned the spot thoroughly whatever I had nearby, which happened to be windex, and...
