Was just wondering. Is it really necessary to drill that eighth inch piece? It seems like it'll still be secure with just the two screws with the spacer?

Orders started going through last week. There was a shut down for the holidays from what I remember. Keep an eye out for the week of February 2nd, at least that's what my dealer told me..(got one on order). Someone on here probably knows a bit more than I do ...maybe I have the wrong info...

I forgot to mention this was a little under x-plan. MSRP was 37.8k. I'll have to ask my dealer when I go in.

Looking to place an order for a 2016 EB. For those who ordered, was there a deposit that had to be put down? How much? I understand each dealer may be different, but a ball park amount may help me decide to order now or later. Thanks in advance!
