So this is the first time in my life I've been in a position financially to buy a $50K+ car. I've spent the last two or three years building my credit and now it's sitting right around 700 I think. Is this good enough to get financing or should I work on it til it hits 750-800?

I don't have a dealership near me with a Shelby in stock for test driving. I'm looking around for some dealers that are further out but in the meantime, what can you tell me about brake performance? I read somewhere that it's so sensitive it's hard to slow down/stop smoothly; is this true?

I was reading on Car and Driver online that the Shelby gets 14 and 21 mpg, respectively. Do we have any Shelby owners here to say if this is accurate?
