My 03 Lightning wouldn't fire up if I held the pedal to the floor. I haven't tried it on my 18 f150 or 19 mustang.

You will probably regret the creature comforts of the 18 mostly. Performance wise you should be about the same. I personally can't stand the S197 interior. It's so bad in my opinion and was the major reason why I never entertained an S197. Love the looks of the car just hated the interior.

The alignment kit is the 4 sleeves that you mentioned that align the cradle for the IRS to the body of the car. The diff bushing kit are the red/black circle like bushings that go into the diff mounting points. Does that answer your question?
