The Ford GT beats the Noble on top end but for sheer acceleration it outguns the GT. You also have to consider power to weight plus the Noble pulls more G's on the skidpad. All I can say is that until you've driven one you won't understand. Like David conquering Goliath.
You have probably never driven a Noble, stock specs are 425 BHP at 2100 lbs, 1000 pounds lighter than Gen1 Ford GT with about 50 less hp. The 0-60 time is about 3.0 sec. It may be closer to three car lengths but when you look in the mirror it seems like a lot more. When it returns from CA my...
My dealer ordered my replacement hoses today, I'll take them for warranty reasons but I'm still going to upgrade them on my own..........
My GT350 TP may not be the perfect sports cars compared to some others, but it's the best Mustang Ford has ever built and nothing can touch it for the price...
Never had a problem with ALL of the Ford's I've owned, and I have had some with over 300K miles on the odo, first time recall for me too..........
I'm sure cars on showroom floors will be the first to be addressed, then owners cars, may be awhile...........
Te air cooled Formula Super Vees had to use 1600cc VW engines. This is vintage correct but we are now allowed to run a 2.0L Type 4 from a 914, I have one in the works.
Ford told me that they WILL HONOR the factory warranty if I decide to do the upgrade myself and they agreed with me using the...
Well, being an Engineer and an A&P and working on $70 Million aircraft that fly at a ceiling of 52,000 ft at some 630 Knots where temps are -120F for 12 hours at a time, and having championship race cars to include winning the Rolex 24 in Daytona in 2001, I may have a fair grasp of hose technology.
I paid sticker for my GT350 TP because I paid cash. I'm a ME and a Lead A&P mechanic as well as racing for over 25 years in everything from GT to Formula cars to Prototypes. Never take shortcuts on safety or reliability, DNF or Second Place is the FIRST LOSER. Always use latest technology, it...
I spoke with the engineers at SVT and we can replace the hoses ourselves as long as the solution is better than Ford's. If it fails it's your bill. I also plan on replacing the factory hoses with AN fittings and Braided hose. I refuse to use SS Braided hose because IT FAILS. I use HS-79 PTFE...
So some secretary driving a four banger nno-turbo hybrid Mustang pulls up and smokes my 2016 GT350, BULLSHIT. Pesonally I'm tired of the tree hugging Politically Correctness.....burn that fossil fuel.
