Does anyone know if he at least made the timing gear and oil pump gear upgrades to the motor? Would also be curious to know how much boost it makes, and how much RPM it has to spin to get there.

This is a valid point. I did only drive it for about 10 minutes (typical test drive). Are you of the opinion that if I drove it more, I'd eventually get over the whole "fun factor" thing?
