  1. Water Pumps and Serpentine Belts

Hey there I don't think there's nothing wrong at all with the maintenance you plan on doing. I'am of the same mindset as you when it comes to the up keeping of things. For me personally I plan doing much of the same things as you such as hoses and other miscellaneous parts. In fact when looking...
  2. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Are there holes behind the stickers in your MY mustang?
  3. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

Ok so I just checked and peeled the stickers away both the one on top of the main and bottom of it and there's nothing behind them except a small/shallow circular indentation if you will. Other than that its just sheet metal behind them.
  4. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

I personally went to the Ford dealership and ordered the rubber grommets using the part numbers as noted from the tsb. Wasn't hard to do really just open the door all the way and it is a tight squeeze to work through the small valley. Also before I applied the plugs I used some touch up paint...
  5. GT500 airbox and lid on GT350

Great job there Racerxray1. I plan on doing the same thing to my '17 gt for most reasons people are doing it for, lower IAT and so that water won't get on the filter. Got the FPP2 so going to do everything at the same time when i install it.
  6. 7th Generation Mustang (S650) Moved to 2022...

Yea pretty much. Being that most likely it will be a MY'21 we should start seeing test mules by early next year in time for cold weather testing, then follow that up in the summer for hot weather. Enough time for the engineers to gather all the data they need to meet the MY'21 goal.
  7. 7th Generation Mustang (S650) Moved to 2022...

How is it outdated news? Everything up to this point has the mustang being based off cd6 and being introduced by MY'21, although i do reserve the right to say that something could happen where it can be pushed back by one model year('22). Ford's persistence that they will sell a hybrid...
  8. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

If what you said is true about the design not locked in now, we would't be seeing a new mustang till at least MY '23 or maybe even '24. And we both know thats not going to happen.
  9. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

Precisely! The new stang is going to go on sale within the next 2 or 3 years and for some to suggest that Ford doesn't know how it looks like now is just pure nonsense. IF that were the case then we wouldn't be seeing a new mustang till at least MY '23 at the earliest if not MY '24---which is...
  10. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I don't think anybody was truly expecting the next mustang to go considerably smaller like some have speculated about. Although I do see them shaving off 2 maybe 3 inches off the length to make it tighter looking like many have been clamoring for including myself. Lets be honest--the current car...
  11. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

Yes common sense does exist--thank you Falc'man lol!! Like i said earlier Ford wants to consolidate platforms to reduce cost, complexity, and increase quality of their vehicle line up. Imagine mustang still being built on its sole S550 platform at Flat Rock while the other vehicles being built...
  12. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

That's exactly what i was thinking. 3 inches of overhang shaved off the length and perhaps tone down on the wheel wells a bit (i feel they are a bit too damn large) for a tighter body, and basically keep everything else the same. Honestly the current mustang has a lot of wasted space in both the...
  13. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

What do you mean by "not updated"? The current mustang is a global vehicle and the next gen model will be no different. Also thus far Ford themselves have said that they want to sell a hybrid mustang by CY 2020 which would make it MY '21....
  14. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I'am just going to lay this on here because at the end of the day I'am going by what people within the company have posted or said in regards to the CD6 mustang. This was posted two months ago at the blue oval forum from someone within the company: "This has been out there for a while. Yes...
  15. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I don't if you've been keeping up but almost everything and everyone close to or within the company are all saying that the Mustang will in fact be CD6 based. Heck even the woman's linkedin profile confirmed as much. The days of vehicles having their unique platforms are almost at an end and any...
  16. Are these panel gaps acceptable

Yea don't worry I have a '17 gt and my rear bumper gaps are the same as yours.
  17. Goodyear Eagle F1 as OE on foundry 20"?

Yes I can confirm he's telling the truth as my car is a '17 gt with the 20" foundry wheels, and they came with the Goodyear tires. I believe Ford made the switch with the '17 MY cars. To be honest i never really liked the tires but thats my opinion.
  18. Yes its true no new Mustang Body style till 2025-2026

Indeed times have changed and the competition is not sitting still. At the end of the day the s550 platform is a derivative of the s197 platform and leaving it mostly unchanged as long as the rumors suggest is just mind blowing, hence why i believe Ford won't do that along with the reasons why...
  19. Yes its true no new Mustang Body style till 2025-2026

Sooooooo somebody posted this on the BON message boards. Its a Linkedin profile of someone that worked on or is working on the CD6 based mustang.....interesting:] https://www.linkedin.com/in/diana-xu
