For those not bringing their own oil, is that ~$130 a street price, i.e., no reduction in price for plans, loyalty/you bought your car from here so it's this price price?
Anyone on the forum have this one? Been wondering since I've had mine, but never asked. I landed 665. I was a little bent about it. Could have named her "satan's sleigh", but now she's just "the 3 fitty".
It looks like the sto n sho is the sturdiest option available, but I don't want to lose more clearance. How much further down does the sto n sho sit and how far does it stick out in front of the car? I'm thinking I won't be able to get in my driveway with one of those, but it would be great if so.
Wondering what to do as well. Mind sharing what your downsides on Craig's are? I was leaning towards his since the other options I've seen (sto-n-sho and the one at american muscle) all mount under the car and have to pass under the splitter. Not crazy about what that does for clearance. I can...
Finally was able to pick her up yesterday. That red looks way better than pictures can do it justice. My neice snapped a few pics while the paperwork and all that good stuff was done, so here are a couple.
Yikes! I'll be able to get in, but it slopes down then back up like a valley. She has to make it all the way to the garage somehow.
Btw, my chassis number is 66.................5. So close!!! Would have loved owning a factory red 666 beast. Oh well. Bigger problems in the world.
Been having some back and forth on that. The dealer's techs recommended against it due to its clearance, but I planned on having it on the car, and they're probably in a better position to do it than I am. As long as I can make it out of the lot, my biggest obstacle is going to be my own driveway...
She came in about a week earlier than expected, and it's just kinda bad timing. Should be there no later than Sunday though. Dealer is about 3 hours away, so it's a little bit of a hike. Not as long as some others have gone, but too far to just stroll over :(
Tri-county ford in Keysville. After seeing the up to $30k markups around here, I hit up random dealers that looked far away from civilization as we know it. It's a nice ride out there and back, and that wasn't even going up 15, which I might do in the way back.
Email from the dealer just a bit ago:
"Great news!! We have the most beautiful red with white stripe Shelby GT 350 I have ever seen sitting in our parking lot right now."
Waiting for a pic. About to develop a cough that sends me home as well.
Crutchfield is usually the place I start since they have a wide selection that can be filtered by what fits your car, but they don't have any info on the new mustangs. Until they get up to speed, you may be taking it to a local install shop to have them check it out. If you're looking to add an...
I'm with you there. My tight ass is clinching already thinking about this. The relative affordability of this car from the perspective of purchase price may not be reflective of its cost to maintain. I'm lucky enough to be able to absorb those costs (until someone finds me on m6g message boards...
