  1. Any NJMP track junkies here?

Not a GT350 but NJMP thunderbolt is one of my favorite tracks. They just repaved it for this season actually. I'm still planning out my season but I plan on making it down there. So far I'm hitting Pocono 6/15 with Track Night in America
  2. Biggsy's Track Build

You can see the offset mount for the Ridetech coilovers to the left.
  3. Biggsy's Track Build

Iā€™m looking at the Vorshlag kit. If funny they wonā€™t sell you just the mounts. My ridetech coilovers I have now have a similar offset bracket in the rear. Maybe try them to see if theyā€™ll sell just that piece?
  4. Biggsy's Track Build

Like you I'd be worried about the smaller spring. Imagine unloading the suspension over curbing? Helper spring or a longer spring seems like a must.
  5. Biggsy's Track Build

Kind of surprised they're too short for such an expensive set. Is it sitting too low with the pre-load at the bottom of the threads? I ask because I've been saving for the same set-up.
  6. Biggsy's Track Build

Build is coming along nicely! What spring rates did you go with on the coilovers?
  7. About taking out G-loc pads and putting back on street pads

I've done it. Went from Gloc's to stock pads for regular driving in the off season. No noise or issues. just a few hard stops to bed the stock pads back into the rotors.
  8. E85 at the Track (HPDE), what to expect

I usually track with a group of friends and at least one will have a tow rig. It double duties as the fuel hauler for all of us because none of the tracks we go to supply E85. Iā€˜m usually down 1/4 tank every 20 min session or a little more. We see fuel cut under 3/4 of a tank because of the...
  9. New Setup - track day Saturday will post feedback and details

Sounds pretty dialed in. Just having the car correctly corner balanced and raked should yield faster times by itself. You'll know the first few turns if the smaller tire is helping or hurting. All that rear camber and 315 rear should help you power through mid corners if the front can hold it...
  10. New Setup - track day Saturday will post feedback and details

So for comparison reasons, what are your wheel/tire specs before and after? Alignment specs before and after?
  11. New Setup - track day Saturday will post feedback and details

How much camber are we talking here? I could see the smaller tire feeling more "nimble" but we have the weight of the motor over the front. For obvious reasons that's why the Porsche are staggered the way they are. I have no experience with that set-up but it doesn't seem ideal for our heavy...
  12. New Setup - track day Saturday will post feedback and details

Makes sense that sounds just like a Porsche setup. Following
  13. New Setup - track day Saturday will post feedback and details

What shop is this? First time I'm hearing anybody recommend a staggered set-up on this platform. What tires will you be running?
  14. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

I had a friend have a similar issue with his car but it would sway under acceleration bad. A shop just installed lowering springs in the car but never tightened the vertical links/lower control arms. Car was scary to drive. Multiple shops couldn't figure it out. I spent an hour nut and bolt...
  15. New York GT 350 Half Shafts new in box. $349obo

Where are you located in NY?
  16. Nys inspection

I work for a dealer. Nothings changed
  17. Need to get exhaust installed NY

Why? Its a cat back exhaust. There's nothing illegal about it. I have the same exhaust and could install this in my driveway in about an hour if your willing to drive to LI.
  18. Getting lighter wheels are a game changer.

Have any more pics of this wheel setup?
  19. Aggressive Fitment Thread

This wheel should fit. I would get camber/caster plates and have it aligned with at least -2.0 degrees of camber all around.
  20. Aggressive Fitment Thread

Not familiar with those wheels on this platform. I'm pretty sure I've seen nt03's on our cars before but I don't know specs. The 18x9.5 +27 sits 9.4mm farther from the strut so it should have a better chance of fitting but I cant say from experience.
