I c, yeah I was looking at perhaps using the maf version of the air box to measure the amount of air that's being consumed for a Diy water injection system. Unless one can somehow output that data from the ecu rpm/map measurements using a "unnecessary" output.
Genuine question is there any difference in the actual airbox between the 3 engines? I know that the gt and v6 has a maf sensor and the Ecoboost has a temperature sensor? In the intake box but can the gt or v6 maf be plugged into the temp sensor location on the Ecoboost?
Yeah, I was worried that it got cut from their products.
How did you monitor the knock sensors to determine something was wrong or did you have to monitor a resultant value. I haven't had a turbo car before and sometimes during low rpm and high throttle the car just doesn't feel right like the...
I was pretty close to dismissing your post as a joke, but upon reading the link... I guess the joke is on me :ninja:
But seriously they could just get to agree to a waiver or warning of some kind and just charge for the licensing of the software. I am sure the users of the software are fully...
Does the "marriage" of said accessport put a write count on the ecu?
I am fairly satisfied with the cars performance (during winter with good gas and no heat saturation:))
Well as far as I could gather, the accesstuner software is on hold indefinitely? So pretty much it got the axe for whatever reason (it was more expensive than other platforms to begin with hint...)
So can the Accessport data log without flashing the ecu and running the oem tune?
I am trying...
Same issue with mine, comes on at 80km/hr(50mph) peaks 87(54mph) gone by 97(61mph). This problem has been with the car since day one but I wanted to wait after breakin(~2000kms now) before passing final judgement.
I wonder when a TSB is going to be issued, cause with out the TSB the people at...
Sorry for bringing back the dead. I just picked up my 16 ecoboost and I couldn't find the boost gauge either in the instrument cluster. looking at the physical one is too distracting and the bad viewing angle makes it almost useless.
Has anyone been able to figure out if the screen is hosted by...
This threads on fire lol and why is there two "OPs"? One who toasted his motor and never came back and one that spun a bearing and got warrantied. Are you guy(s) two of the same? If so you got really lucky this time .
To OP
First off, that seriously sucks man and i can partially relate to your situation as my previous car was totaled by some monkey in a tow truck on its way to the dealership (no mods though). Thus here i am lol
I think the OP should take a different approach to this problem...
1. Get your...
I see that some of you have gutted the internals of the PCV valve and have been successful, however will the increase flow through the crankcase have negative effects on lubrication of the cams valves etc?
Have anyone notice weather there is a one way mechanism built into the valve cover port...
Thanks for the reply, so it looks like there will be some sort of separator for both the block port and the valve cover port (assuming ford used similar designs as the 2.0).
Also when people refer to the PCV valve, is it an actual cylindrical inline check valve or are they referring to the...
New to this type of engine as well, and the whole break in argument that could swing either way... from run it hard to driving like a learner with the instructor next to you
I think either way is fine especially if your just using it as a daily car. How many civics camarys etc do you...
Greetings to all, first post on this forum :first:.
I have look through several "PCV" threads including that long upr vs mishimoto one but can really find any design details of the stock system. Only that it doesn't seem to work as in allowing crankcase oil vapors to escape.
Some...
