  1. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

I called them and they sent me the new tune out on an SD card but this was the old days when you used a separate flashing module that you got from Ford Racing. I am assuming with the nicer laptop based system now you will be able to get it online but thats a total guess. I am sure if you call...
  2. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

If they are like the other tunes they have done in the past yes, they continue to develop and release updates as they get feedback and get more miles driven on the calibrations. At least they did for the Focus ST calibration I had on my old car, I think i was on the 3rd release when i sold that car.
  3. Our Ford Performance Stage 2 Power Pack Results Are In!

True, but firstly that would be pretty difficult to install. Secondly it would add some delay to the engine response as it would not be able to accurately match rpm until the gear was fully engaged in the transmission and the shaft speed changed accordingly. My understanding of the nissan system...
  4. Our Ford Performance Stage 2 Power Pack Results Are In!

You would need a gear position sensor in the shifting mechanism in order to determine the gear being shifted in to. It would require additional hardware change and wiring into the can network most likely, this would not be easily done. I bet the 18s come with it though.
  5. 5.0 Engine Crankshaft Damper: Same as GT350?

I believe fuel cut is set to 8250 under ideal conditions ie all temperatures are safe. The crankshaft damper is quite a bit different due to the different crank and rotating assembly of the 5.2.
  6. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

I'm not sure I would say inferior.. maybe pure numbers wise, but I would put good money on these offering very good driveability and reliable performance in extreme climates that many tuners cannot offer at least not to this extent. Definitely going to be looking at state 2/3 even out of...
  7. FS PP GT Front Brembo Rotors & Rear Rotors *Sold*

To be fair there is someone else here selling an identical set of 4 listed at 250. I dont see why you need to be so rude. Also, you can get a new set of 4 from levvittown ford for 350 so yeah 600 would be insane.
  8. FS PP GT Front Brembo Rotors & Rear Rotors *Sold*

Do you have a quote for shipping to detroit area? I might be interested.
  9. GT Performance Pack Take off front/rear brake rotors

Are you willing to ship? I am in Detroit area.
  10. brake fluid (spin off of another thread)

That's very interesting... it sounds like you haven't had issues with the stock fluid yet then? I am trying to decide if I want to switch to another brake fluid or just bleed with the factory stuff now. I have always run RBF 660 in my cars without issue but everybody here seems to be reporting...
  11. brake fluid (spin off of another thread)

I don't know if this helps you or if its even that great of an indicator about how hard the fluid would be on parts, but the RT700 is listed as a pH of 7.3 which is much less acidic than endless RF-650 and motul 660. Therefore I doubt it would be any harder on brake internals than most good DOT...
  12. What are your track/AutoX alignment settings?

I can only dream to have a setup like that at some point haha. I can't believe I hadn't noticed the RX in your avatar sooner, it looks amazing, must be devastatingly quick on the road course.
  13. What are your track/AutoX alignment settings?

Thanks for the reply! That sounds similar to what I think was some Hot Rod article I read a while back and therefore pretty similar to what I was considering. Luckily I have a nice set of scales at work that I can use so I at least can get that for free.
  14. What are your track/AutoX alignment settings?

Wow that's an awesome setup, pretty jealous that you get to run COTA. I was wondering if you might be willing to share what you use for your "bespoke" leveling/turn plate system. I recently decided that I am tired of paying shops for alignments and purchased a camber/caster gauge, but cant...
  15. FRPP suspension install. What did you pay? and is it warrantied?

They offer a 3 year 36k mile warranty on the handling packages. Here is a link with more detail: http://www.fordracingparts.com/warranty/Select_Parts_Warranty_Statement_2015.pdf As for installation cost I don't know personally but a friend of mine had a Ford Handling pack installed on his...
  16. Ecoboost Engine Blown?

Yeah i mean that's kinda my point. If its something dumb like a catback or a CAI then it should be OK but leave it on if you really don't think it has an effect on warranty. I just see guys doing things like running crappy tunes from unknown tuners feeling like they are entitled to warranty when...
  17. Ecoboost Engine Blown?

No offense man but I don't get why people try to cheat the system its just kinda dishonest and crappy. If you changed your tune, downpipe, IC etc you shouldn't be playing it off under warranty like its Ford's fault. They designed the car the way they did and put the warranty on it that way you...
  18. Faulty pads on PP GTs...

Maybe take it to another dealer? if your noise is the same as mine it is NOT "normal high performance brake noise". Also this might sound silly but if you have some time throw it up on jacks, take the wheels off and really check the calipers for rocks/debris I have had the issue before where a...
  19. Faulty pads on PP GTs...

UGH that's not good news. I have this issue too, haven't taken it into the dealer yet because it only happens very randomly. At first I thought it was a dust shield bent up touching the rotor because it was such a loud metal on metal grinding sound but they all seem to be OK. I am mostly afraid...
