  1. Spark Plugs - Please Read

I've owned many cars over the years (I'm 54, which I'm betting is well above the mean age here). With just about any car I've had, if you put a lot of load on the car in a low gear, you get spark knock. I'm guessing, and I'm no expert, that this is extenuated in the turbo/blown cars. Do the NGK...
  2. Steeda Front Fascia

Much better looking than the Roush, which just looks odd as has all their styling IMHO. I still think the best looking S550 styling is Saleen by far. Too bad it's not a real viable option as I doubt they'll make parts available ever, even if they continue to exist.
  3. Spark Plugs - Please Read

Yes, ALL 2015 Ford products with Sync will notify Ford through the Satellite that the ECU has had a program change. I thought this was pretty well known. So even if you return your program back to stock with whatever you've used, Cobb, SCT, etc., Ford will have a record of all the changes made...
  4. Spark Plugs - Please Read

This thread has been extremely helpful. I don't know squat about tuning, other than my service manager has me concerned enough not to get into the ECU since Ford will know immediately via SYNC. I have the R/Y - JMS Boostmax and Pedalmax. GREAT products. Noticeable difference in torque and...
  5. What I learned about trying to swap to PP gauges.

Here is my reply in the thread. Ford folks, please confirm, cause this sucks. Here is the skinny as I just went through this, bought all the parts, and returned, sold said parts. According to my service manager, and you can confirm at Fordparts.com, there are literally dozens of main dash...
  6. Swapping interior dash

Here is the skinny as I just went through this, bought all the parts, and returned, sold said parts. According to my service manager, and you can confirm at Fordparts.com, there are literally dozens of main dash harness's, depending on if you have stock or premium, nav or no nav, adapt...
  7. For those wanting a PP dash....

I got the GT brakes (Eco PP brakes) on evilbay for $400. They pop up from time to time. Even saw a set of the 15" Brembo's for $800, but the 14's seem to be more than I need on the track. Not sure I really need the rad. A trans cooler for POS auto? Sure. Steeda sells their spring/swaybar kit...
  8. For those wanting a PP dash....

Your absolutely right there. It was an aesthetics thing for me. My favorite part of the PP was the dash gauges. Not worth $1500 for sure. A new cat-back would be a much better spend there I agree totally.
  9. For those wanting a PP dash....

I suppose hindsight it would have been the thing to do. It was only $2000 for the Eco, but then I'd have to buy a set of winter wheels/tires, which would have made my cost more like $3500. In the end, I'll end up with better springs and sway bars than the Ford Racing stuff, and a slightly less...

    Boostmax for Eco's Pedalmax for Eco's and Coyote's http://www.roushyatesparts.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=boostmax
  11. For those wanting a PP dash....

How do headers, which for the Eco don't exist yet, make the car go around a track faster? Corner entrance (braking) and corner exit are much more important. I was blowing s197 Saleens off Barber by over 2 sec a lap with better brakes and the independent rear, which gave me much quicker corner...
  12. For those wanting a PP dash....

Thanks for the heads up. Since I already have the brakes, that was the big thing for me. As you stated, the stock GT PP springs and bars are most likely not as good as those from Steeda, MM, and others. Just wish Kenny Brown would get his SN550 stuff out. I just love that guy (and Cari) and want...
  13. For those wanting a PP dash....

The Nguage plugs into your OBDII port and has various ECU tunes in it. Some dealerships will void your warranty if the ECU has been tampered with. Plus it's like $600. The best bang for the buck IMHO for the Eco is the Roush/Yates - JMS BoostMax. It DOES NOT leave any footprint in the ECU, it...
  14. For those wanting a PP dash....

I opted out of the PP due to getting the 50th Ann package, which included wheels and if you got that and the PP, you didn't get two sets of wheels or credit for getting one set of wheels. Also, since my Eco is a DD, the summer tires didn't make much sense, and at 54, I'm not a black wheel...
  15. For those wanting a PP dash....

Because there would have to be a place to plug in the gps antenna??
  16. For those wanting a PP dash....

It also matters if you have auto or manual. Shaker or not. Nav or not, etc. etc. Go to Fordparts.com and see how many main dash harness's there are. That guy had the PP already. Swapping out the GT PP gauges for Eco gauges with the boost function is easy as seen on the CJ Pony Parts website...
  17. Ford Performance Package Gauges

I got the parts reasonably cheap. My service manager thought the same thing, that there should be an easy hookup or pigtail there for the gauges. Turns out there are literally 100 different main wire harness's depending on what options your car has. Don't believe me? Go to Fordparts.com and...
  18. For those wanting a PP dash....

Unfortunately, no. I wanted to do this, but there are literally 100 different main wire harness's depending on what options you have. Auto or manual. Nav or no nav, shaker, and gauges or no gauges. It can be done, but you have to replace the entire main dash harness which entails removing the...
