    Adrian, I appreciate the gesture, but I still think that any car emblem should be alcohol-proof. Alcohol is one of the least aggressive cleaning stuffs there is. And FYI, I did not rub the emblem, I just wiped away the fingerprints from the decklid and when the rug touched the emblem, the paint...

    Disappointing! I bought a matte set last week. This weekend I installed it on the car. In principle everything looked nice, but when I used a rug and some alcohol to remove the grease and fingerprints from the decklid, the paint from the GT emblem came off!! :mad:
