  6. 2016 GT for sale

Hi all, Having realised that we're 6 months into the year and I've barely driven it, I've concluded that it's better to sell to someone who will get the best from it than remaining a garage queen with me. Full details on pistonheads classifieds, so here's the link...
  7. Think Ford Reading

Hi all, My GT is due a service (even though it’s done a paltry 1750mls!). Whilst I usually service all my cars myself, I have a Ford extended warranty and service plan in the Mustang, so duty bound to have. dealer service it. First service was done by Trust in Guildford, but frankly I thought...

  9. Used market dead?

So, have had my car on Pistonheads for about a month and in that time, not a single enquiry - none, zip, nada - not even canvassers LOL! Now, I'm not desperate to sell (keep changing my mind in fact), but there does seem to have been a big slowdown in demand? The MY18 perhaps doesn't help...
  10. Change of mind, lots of new upgrades for sale

Repositing as I think last one got removed as I didn't post pictures etc.! After much deliberation, whilst I have amassed quite a collection of upgrades, I have decided to keep my S500 absolutely stock so selling the following. Most parts are absolutely brand new and boxed as I received them...
  11. Silverstone Classic

Hi folks, Anyone else going to Silverstone Classic? I'm due to be there all weekend. Hope the weather is kind as it's been very variable in previous years! :ford:
  12. TSW Geneva

Any of you guys got any pics of these fitted? Torn betwen these and Bathurst - but the spokes being proud of the rim put me off the bathurst somewhat. Thanks
  13. Ford Racing Hood Struts

Bought a set of the Ford Racing hood struts on a whim whilst in the states a couple of weeks ago (along with a GT350R wheel  ) These specifically: [ame] Has anyone fitted them? Interestingly (to me) the brackets look the same as the Redline kit - so hood deployment compatible...
  14. Guess how long a 10k service takes....

As some may know from an earlier thread, had my car booked in at (the highly recommended) Think Guildford for its first 10k service (having covered an actual 1100 miles with an oil change at 500). Go on, guess... :frusty:
  15. Recall/1st Service - Berks area?

Hi folks, As a rule, I service my own cars and bikes. However, as I have a recall notice for the wiring loom am considering having a first service done at the same time? Thing is, I did an oil and filter change at 500miles and the car has only done a shade over 1k now! Anyway, my local...
  16. Oil change on a GT - how to

Carried out an oil change last weekend and took a few pics to make life easier for enyone else who fancies doing it. It's a bit of a fiddle and much easier on a ramp, but could be done on the drive with some axle stands (and swearing I expect) ;) Pics tell the story....
  17. Pricing....

Given the ramifications to GBP/USD post Brexit (as we're seeing), I wouldn't be surprised to see a further increase to the sticker price of the Mustang, especially as it's only made in the US. Ford must be smarting at the exchange rate....
  18. What better way to run the car in....

Than a trip to Le Mans and back to see Ford win after 50 years in the new GT (though also suffer the agony of seeing Toyota lose :( ) With almost 850miles covered (at an average of 28mpg!), in two almost non-stop drives, the Mustang GT is deserving of its name. Got out the other end feeling...
  19. Covercraft Noah car cover

I kept hold of my Covercraft Noah car cover from my S197 in the hope it would fit the S550. Initially, I was concerned that the bonnet/wingmirror placement wouldn't work - but the good news is that it does :) Highly recommend these covers. Not cheap, but worth it. This is a Noah, so good for...
