Bought a set of the Ford Racing hood struts on a whim whilst in the states a couple of weeks ago (along with a GT350R wheel :thumbsup: ) These specifically: [ame] Has anyone fitted them? Interestingly (to me) the brackets look the same as the Redline kit - so hood deployment compatible...

Carried out an oil change last weekend and took a few pics to make life easier for enyone else who fancies doing it. It's a bit of a fiddle and much easier on a ramp, but could be done on the drive with some axle stands (and swearing I expect) ;) Pics tell the story....

Given the ramifications to GBP/USD post Brexit (as we're seeing), I wouldn't be surprised to see a further increase to the sticker price of the Mustang, especially as it's only made in the US. Ford must be smarting at the exchange rate....

Than a trip to Le Mans and back to see Ford win after 50 years in the new GT (though also suffer the agony of seeing Toyota lose :( ) With almost 850miles covered (at an average of 28mpg!), in two almost non-stop drives, the Mustang GT is deserving of its name. Got out the other end feeling...
