i'm not paying interest on the warranty as i paid cash for that and the car. the extended warranty is supposed to cover everything except the key fob at $100 deductable. they wanted another $350 to cover the key fob and i thought that was way extreme.
So I bought a 2015 base GT with a build date of feb. 2015 on door.I opted for the 7yr 100k extended warranty, paid about $2750 for that I think.I'm at 14k and owned car over a year now, no problems really.I added a borla cat-back a couple months back.Very satisfied with the car.I dont want to...
i like the way my base gt handles. i'm not "tracking" it or even street racing. I drive like a moonshine runner, i drive crappy roads while hauling fragile cargo. It goes where i want it to. I've driven down some really questionable creek bed entrances and not rubbed a thing, and there were folks...
I used to drive an old dodge work van on a route at night and hold the gas pedal to the floor while turning the ignition on and off at cruising speed and it would boom like a freakin cannon! lol. Scared the crap out of oncoming traffic as the would pass me in the dead of night !lmao, it was fun...
Shops are telling me that they will need to "CUT" my stock catback to install my aftermarket catback and I'm under the impression (from cj pony parts install video),that that's not required and I want to save it in one piece anyway.Yes, I'll probably just do it myself , and another set of hands...
How much trouble would it be to put GT350 front brakes on a base model GT ? i like the GT350 brakes better than the perf pack brakes but the spindle is different.
i'd like to find a deal on some leather seats out of a "totaled" or parted out premium s550 some time down the road from now..Where do you think would be some of the best places to start looking? I know some of these cars will be wrecked and i'd love to have some of the pieces of them. :ford:
i paid cash for my 2015 GT. Buying the car you want is easy but think about what you want to do with it. I bought the 100,000 mile/7 yr extended "wrap" warranty. I'm glad I did because I plan on keeping this car and driving it as much as possible and there are so many "gadgets" that can go out...
don't play with the factory tire inflator while inside your car. That pos has liquid crap that shoots out when you put it on "repair"!!! it ruined my clothes but i saved my interior with a fast body block, i thought it was just an air pump and i carry a $5 plug kit,(i used to be a roofer).i was...
Hold in traction control while pressing brake pedal firmly(at a stop on level ground), hold for about 5 seconds. this turns off traction control AND advance track. Much more action than sport mode I believe. Sport mode still has advance trac active. This turns all the "nannys" off.
yeah I really hate to upgrade on a new car unless absolute. if it ain't broke don't fix. i ain't gonna hit it that hard far from home.if it's close all is good...............
Too much ! Everytime i hit it hard from a digg it sounds like my driveshaft is hitting the body but it's the stuff i have down where a spare tire would go bouncing all over the place. It's not much either....tire plug kit, factory air pump, umbrella , insect repellent, flashlight and microfiber...
