Even with a 7 gallon tank, and pressure set to 150, the compressor will kick on when you raise the car back up. The compressor will usually kick on at 135 psi. So no matter what, the compressor will indeed come on when you air up.
Being two completely different materials, I do question how long this will last. PD is a rubber based product and AD is a vinyl based product. It looks good now, but time will tell.
After a long wait, I finally got it all together. Thanks to Paul for all of his help!!! I'll be taking some better pics very soon.

Remove wheels from car, clean really well, plastidip the barrels black and never know they're dirty again. I've done it on all of my wheels for years now.
