Yes, I've seen a couple posts around the forums regarding someone retrofitting BLIS into a Mustang, not sure if it was a GT350 though. I kept this to the puddle lamp retrofit, but since all the wiring and connections are there, it should work once you rig up the Radars and wire it correctly. A...
I believe they are BLIS and potentially Heated. I do not see the Heated symbol on them, but I think the 2019 Tech pack cars came with Heated Mirrors. And yes, if you don't have BLIS/Heated Mirrors, you'll need to swap your glass over.
Interesting thought on 2018 cars adding the BLIS hack since...
Hello all,
I've seen a couple topics on this but I figured I would put this all into one post so people can search for this. I have a 2017 GT350R and have wanted the puddle lamps on my car for some time. I've seen 2-3 people complete the swap successfully, one which included cutting the...
$4500 dollars is very reasonable (I was quoted $6500 to fully wrap my car in XPEL (XPEL Stealth on the stripes)).
PPF is very much worth it IMHO as well.
I've wrapped similar to everyone above (Front Clip, Doors (Door Dings), A-Pillars/Roof, Rockers, Full Stripes, Rear Impacts, Luggage rack...
I am familiar with those three, and will hopefully attend one or more track day this year (most likely Waterford Hills since they repaved it recently).
Some of my buddies from our local Mustang group attended the Mohawk Track Experience and said it was an awesome experience.
I would also...
Definitely a good read, and pretty much sums up what all other owners have seen and experienced.
By far the best quote of the story was from the editor-in-chief:
"Ford sure named this voodoo engine right. I feel like my right foot has been possessed by the spirit of Carroll Shelby." —Eddie...
Daytona is not a bad home track to have, a bucket list track for me for sure.
Time is the ultimate constraint for all of us. Track days require definitely require a lot of pre and post prep.
Enthusiast events are always enjoyable, learning from one another and sharing feedback and stories.
Ok, good to know. I planned to hook up an external microphone up to my GoPro setup, but was unsure how to route it back there and where to leave it on the back of the car.
And on the flipside as stated before, it is very refreshing to see how passionate people are about the products we make. It...
Awesome videos Tom! Arguably the best exhaust note ever produced. What camera and microphone setup are you running? I noticed that even with what seemed like an external microphone, the exhaust is so loud that there is still some distortion at the high rev ranges. And it's always a pleasure, as...
My screen name is nothing car related, just have had it or a variation of it for over a decade.
Favorite NHL Hockey Team, Detroit Red Wings and my birth month and year.
As everyone else has said, glad you're ok. It's fortunate (sad to say that) that you hit on the passenger side and no one was with you in the car at the time. Things could have been a lot worse... Also, I'm very happy to see that the company I proudly work for builds safe products, designed to...
I'm super late to the party, but I'll throw my 2 cents in too.
I would buy my R again in a heartbeat, even at the 10k ADM I paid for it because I feel that even at $80k the car is worth it at that price.
Don't be discouraged your deal fell through, you are not alone. I wanted over a year...
That makes sense, thanks for the clarification. It's sad that it changed because it was so easy to tell if the VIN was for an R or not. I'm also confused why the airbags are different between the two cars in the first place for 2015-17s... It also shows how much I know working for the company...
