Right, but from what it sounds like is if you're buying from the dealer and want a premium package the active exhaust will be installed.
I think it's a neat feature, but probably useless unless the other modes are loud enough to justify going quiet.
My deal is I feel like they could've...
I was just being dumb. I was joking about a post earlier I had said that the active exhaust isn't going to be a stand alone option if you aren't building the car from Fords site
You said it was, and said I should do research.
I THINK....THHHHHIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNKKKKKKKK I REMEMBER SAYING THAT ORIGINALLY?
I don't like to say I told you so, but I did apologize because you made me think I was wrong....but I was right. So.....I told you so
My first tire change is due, and with it comes new wheels and wider tires! I've had a set of 19x10 wheels for over a year now, I've just been waiting until my stock tires wear down.
My issue is when I ordered my Nitto Invos I ordered 255/40 for the front and 285/35 for the rear. I didn't...
The active exhaust is on a stock exhaust system. First off, how many noise complaints are you getting from the stock exhaust??
Secondly, if you're putting an aftermarket exhaust on the car to make it loud, then you can buy an aftermarket exhaust with the active feature now.
Thirdly, is...
I posted something similar in another thread. The ONLY reason to have a quiet mode on A STOCK exhaust is if the other modes make your ears bleed. Then it's reasonable. But usually, unless you're in a high dollar sports car, stock exhaust systems aren't unreasonably loud. I've never had one noise...
You're right, my bad. For building and ordering the car you can skip that option. However, I'd be willing to bet they won't have too many premium or performance packs sitting on the lot without that feature.
It has nothing to do with macho bravado and everything to do with the type of car...
^^^^THIS!
It's supposed to be a MUSCLE CAR. It's supposed to be loud, obnoxious, and fast while looking incredible. John Wick doesn't mow through the entire Russian mafia to get a ten speed, smart exhaust car
I mean it's great to be courteous, and I don't ever Rev up late at night or...
I'd hate to think about you stranded on the road outside the gates and among the heathens!
Lemon laws should definitely apply as long as it's been under 18 months since you've purchased it. However, it's pretty loosely worded, in how many attempts to repair the vehicle is regarded as...
Just got my car back from dealership. They replaced the evap core. This is the second Mustang in the household that has needed the evaporator core replaced. The silver lining (if there is one) is neither car looks like it has had its entire dash pulled out.
Also, the service manager said he...
2 s550 mustangs in my household, both had to have evap core replaced at 20k miles. 2 cars, a 15 and a 16 doing the same thing is too much of a coincidence. So, if it hasn't happened to you yet, it most likely will.
Well, from what I've read on other forums and even the top thread on this page it seems Ford knows about the issue, they refuse to issue a recall because it doesn't involve the safety of the driver.
However, because it's a faulty part, and because Ford has that knowledge, the warranty...
My dad has a 2015 mustang, at 20k miles his evaporator core went out.
I have a 2016 mustang, at exactly 20k miles my evaporator core went out.
Even after warranty if it's a faulty product/part (which it is)Ford should be liable to replace the part.
Exactly! That is what I'm worried about. It seems Ford should do a recall. Every page has at least 2-3 threads regarding what seems to be evaporator core issues.
My dad has a 2015 mustang, at 20k miles his evaporator core went out. Same issue, cold on passenger side but not at all on drivers side.
I have a 2016 mustang, at exactly 20k miles my evaporator core went out. Same symptoms.
This is becoming a common issue.
Honestly, in my 2015, I think the cloth seats felt better than the leather in my 16. That being said, it was worth the extra for the bigger screen, sync 3, heated and cooled seats, the back up sensors and the better looking stock wheels.
However, if you've never had a screen, heated and cooled...
Awesome! Yeah post those pics!! lol...I'm wanting to go with black wheels too, was going to spring for the M350's but I didn't want to copy...So, I'm debating now between Rohana Rf2's or five spoke wheels. I just don't know how 5 spokes will look on this car.
