I don't think so. The carpet is firmly in place without it.

There is a screw that the plastic piece threads on to. I had to move the hole in the carpet abit to locate the screw.

I sure hope the shift knob on the GT350 is available to purchase within the coming months. I love the look of it, and I think it will fit my hand, and shifting style better than the round standard ball shape.

435 HP is fast. Do you realize a 1999 Mustang GT made 260 HP, and a 2008 made 305? For their time, and the market at the time, these were not considered slow. The new Mustang is refined, and the Coyote power band is different than some are used to.

Hi Deysha, I found the part number and went ahead and ordered it. It is a $6 part, I figured I would go ahead and order it/install the part as it just snaps in place. This process is a lot faster than dealing with a service tech, and waiting on them to order it.

Does anyone know the part number of this specific part? My car is missing this piece behind the visor on the driver side.

I use Dr. Color chip, but I think that area is a bit too big. If you ever need to repair chips or smaller scratches, Dr. Color chip is the best solution.

Another change to the 2015 Mustang, is that the Mustang GT will now have the painted lower valence to match the body, versus having the plastic molded trim piece. My late 2015 GT has paint to match rear valence versus the black molded plastic.

Thanks so much for the window tip! The piece of felt on the passenger side is loose and is coming off. I'm going to tear off the little piece of felt adhesive, and replace with a new piece. You can buy sheets of black adhesive felt at Walmart
