  1. Bathurst 12hr

YouTube live stream of Bathurst 12hr on at the moment. Quite a mean looking Mustang circulating - not the factory GT4 though. Guess it's an Aussie independent, but looks really good - however just been put into the wall by an AMG GT! (but still going). Tune in .... enjoy .... :thumbsup...
  2. Ford Performance at Aragon

[ame] Raptor looks awesome, MY18 goes well, GT road car is epic, GT racing car shows the difference between a fast road car and an out and out racing car ..... but at the risk of sounding like a stuck record, GIVE US THE GT350R IN THE UK FORD, YOU T@$$ERS! :D
  3. Is this what I think it is? ....

I'm sure everyone has seen the latest Audi S5 Coupe ad? Is it just me or is it basically having a thinly veiled swipe at the Mustang? .... in the usual pretentious Audi fashion, of course. Funnily enough, there is another S5 ad (I think) doing the rounds where they're giving it the beans around...
  4. Why would Ford be doing this I wonder? ....

On PH today. Anyone else getting quite excited? ..... https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-driven/ford-shelby-mustang-gt350r-driven/36512
  5. Look what BMW have done ....

..... they've created a Mustang! This is the new M8. Clearly BMW think there is a pretty significant market this side of the pond for a super-high performance coupe, which I'm sure will also be available in RHD. But not to worry Ford, I'm sure the GT350 would never sell in Europe :frusty: ...
  6. End of Year Blast ..... Sat 31st Dec

A bit of a last minute thing, but I'm taking the car on a little run out to north/mid Wales on Saturday. The initial plan was a run up from Wolverhampton to Llangollen via M54/A5, then on to Bala via the A494, then back to the A5 at Knockin via the B4391/B4396 and then home. This then...
  7. Shelsley Walsh 9th October

Went down to the last Breakfast Club meeting of the year at Shelsley Walsh. Weather absolutely fantastic, as it has been every time I've been down this year. Some lovely cars, as usual. A fantastic little Alpine, lovely Lea-Francis, a few nice Ferraris (including my personal favourite, a...
  8. Exclusive M6G Silverstone Track Day

OK, so who would potentially be interested in a track day at Silverstone? I've been in touch with them and have some ballpark costs. Costs vary depending on day of the week and time of year. In summary; Exclusive day for M6G members on the International Circuit (Tues, Wed or Thur). Run...

  10. Jay Leno's Garage

Just watch episode 3 - enjoyed it. Did a feature on a stock Mustang GT, which he took to Hennessey and had a 2.9 supercharger fitted (all other parts stock apparently, but I would imagine injectors, other s/c ancillaries etc were changed as part of the supercharger fitment) - and it cracked...
  11. Dave ja vu

Dave ja vu, right now. Jay Leno's Garage. Lots of old and new American muscle and the GT350R.
  12. At last! GT350R to the UK ....

OK, so here's one for all you naysayers and non-believers. Ordered my Mustang GT350R last Friday ..... metallic blue with black OTT stripes .... ...... and picked it up today! (from the postman! :D )
  13. Wear on Seat Bolsters

Having read a couple of other posts with the same issue, I thought it was worth a thread ..... or is there one already? After less than 6 months, 2000 miles and, more importantly, only being used on average about once every 10 days I noticed that the drivers seat bolster is showing quite...
  14. Fantastic! ....

..... Great! Super! .... I'm SO pleased for them. In fact, I'm over the f:censored:king moon! :frusty: :paddle:
  15. Shelsley Walsh Breakfast Club - 8th May 2016

Before popping up the motorway to get to Manders culinary soiree, I had a drive down to the May Breakfast Club at Shelsley Walsh. Another lovely day weather-wise (but a bit warmer that the March meeting I went to) and more lovely cars and bikes to look at - a great variety of vehicles ...
  16. PedalMax Fitting and Test

Well what a busy and productive weekend I've had! :) Partial fail with the LED swaps but the strut brace fitting went well and today I stuck on the PedalMax. Fitting Well, first off don't believe the 'it takes 5 mins to fit' BS! About an hour is more like it - and be prepared to get...
  17. OEM Strut Brace

Despite having half the skin on my forearms removed whilst trying to extract the front side lights, I managed to finish fitting the strut brace today ..... and I also remembered to take pictures! Photo1; So prior to getting started I had already had a go at making a template for re-shaping...
  18. Side Lights

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but ...... HOW THE F:censored:K DO YOU REMOVE THE SIDE LIGHTS! :frusty: Managed to do the LED swap for DRL's (all good), indicators (Fail; from the outside they work ok, but get the double speed clicking business on the dash so put the old ones...
  19. K&N Drop-In Air Filter

So much for my original 'no modding' stance :) That went out of the window with the Milltek cat-back system and now it seems the floodgates are open! As I said after Silverstone I'm limiting the mods to a few cosmetic items and some minor performance improvements. So today I got delivered...
