  2. Light vs Dark Theme Menu Difference

Not sure if this has been brought up, but I noticed a menu bar seen in the Light Mode is not there in the Dark Mode. See the attached screen shots. The menu bar is pretty useful for navigation, so if it could be added/fixed in the Dark Mode that would be great. If I roll the mouse over that...
  3. Red Up/Down Arrows

The up/down arrows in the lower RH corner use to be grey in color which wasn't too annoying. Now they are bright red and pretty annoying as they pop in and out with every move of the screen. If people know they are there do they really need to be bright red and annoying while using the forums?
  4. Wear Spot on Oil Dipstick

I noticed a slight wear spot on the edge of the oil dipstick (see red arrow in attached photo), and a wear streak along the edge to the tip from removing and installing it when checking the oil level. Was wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing. Apparently the dipstick is rubbing...
  5. Leaking Moroso Coolant Tank

I bought a Moroso aluminum coolant tank from Lethal Performance a few years ago, but this tank only has about 3,000 miles on it. My 2015 GT is a garage queen and gets low miles put on it. I checked the coolant level a few days ago and it was down 4~5 oz, so I started inspecting around and found...
  6. Forgotten 1965 Mustang Videos

Not sure if this has been posted before, but this guy is bringing a forgotten 1965 Mustang Fastback back to life. There are 3 other follow on videos to this one, which can be found by going to his channel. Pretty interesting to see how decrepit an old car can become if neglected, and how it...
  7. BBQ Tick Test Request

My theory on the BBQ tick (typewriter tick) has always been excessive rod side clearance and/or excessive crankshaft end play clearance. Thinking about this some, I have a test in mind that might give more info on this theory. That test is to have someone that definitely has the ticking at...
  8. What's This Field Service Action About?

I ran my VIN (2015 GT) on Ford's website to check for recalls and this information shows up. Anyone know what it's about? Run your VIN here: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/maintenance/recalls.html I don't think there is a recall on the 6 Gen Mustang airbags - nothing shows up on the...
  9. Your Blend/Build Date is On the Car

Not sure if anyone has posted about this ... I haven't seen it mentioned if they have. I was looking at the info label in the door jamb the other day, and it occurred to me that the blend/build date is "hidden" on the label. There will also be a build date located in the upper LH corner of...
  10. Front Wheel Well Liner R&R

Anyone here completely remove and reinstall a front wheel well liner? If so, is it pretty straight forward and easy to do, and anything to look out for?
  11. Time For A New Battery

Looking for a good quality battery that will last longer than the OEM. Looks like the battery group size is a 96R, and has 590 CCA. I've had good luck with Interstate and AC Delco (Professional series) batteries in the past. I've read a lot of guys here have had battery problem, so did you go...
  12. Castrol GTX Magnatec Oil

Anyone here try the Castrol GTX "Magnatec" full synthetic motor oil? Their 5W-20 meets the Ford spec WSS-M2C945-A for the 5.0 Coyote. I'm thinking of switching from the Motorcraft semi-synthetic to a full synthetic at the next oil change.
  13. Junkyard Rescue - 1969 Mustang Mach 1

Thought this was pretty cool. Love the body style of the 69 Mach 1 ... hints of its styling live in the S550. [ame]
  14. Secure Site Log-In

Why doesn't this site have a secure log-in ... ie, https:// type of setup? When I log-in I see a message saying it's not secure and my log-in info could possibly be compromised.
  15. Can't See YouTube Video Links Anymore

Doesn't look like this forum gets much action, but I'll ask anyway. Today I noticed if someone posts a YouTube link I don't see the image of the video or the YouTube link ... I always use to. I'm using the latest version of Firefox and I haven't changed any settings - use to see the YouTube...
  16. Cowl Brace Bolts

Anyone here work at a Ford dealer in the parts department? I called a couple of dealers to see if I can get a missing bolt for my cowl brace, and they can't find the bolts on the parts schematics. I need a Ford part number. See attached parts schematic, which shows the cowl brace (p/n...
  17. Wanted - Two Steeda Strut Tower Brace Spacers

I need two Steeda strut tower brace spacers, and wondering if anyone here with a GT with Performance Package has 2 spacers left over from their Steeda Strut Tower Brace laying around. The GT with PP only requires 4 of the 6 spacers included with the brace. The spacers go between the strut...
  18. Rear IRS Subframe Bolts

Has anyone checked the torque on their rear subframe bolts? The shop manual shows the torque to be 129 ft-lbs for the big main bolts and 41 ft-lbs for the smaller bracket bolts. Thought while under the car I'd throw a torque wench on them and just check the torque to make sure they are to...
  19. Steeda G-Trac Brace & Rear Sub Frame Braces

I've got a 2015 GT Premium without the Performance Package, and want to add the Steeda front G-Trac Brace and the Rear Sub Frame Braces to stiffen up the chassis some. I notice if I go over inclines at an angle I can hear the front end flexing, so really want to stiffen that up for sure. Kind...
  20. Mustang Involved in Baltimore Bus Crash

Looks like an S197, but wanted to post this because the damage was just crazy. The guy driving the Mustang wasn't injured too badly. He must have received some major whiplash I'd think. The school bus hit the Mustang first before crashing into the other bus, and if not maybe the school bus...
