Reading Mikes articles and his journey with the Ecoboost i completely get where he's coming from and love the look so far.
For a non-staggered 20x10 setup all round i think the wheels look great.:headbang: Its not a look many cars can pull off and yet the mustang does it quite easily.
Dont quote me on any of this but what I've always understood the rules to be are as follows...
As far as im aware, the vents on the GT shouldn't be an issue at all in relation to ADR specs. They don't face forward and they lie what looks to be relatively flush with the hood itself. This then...
Whats been happening with the guys in the states is that I think the dealers will drill into the bumper and attach a black plastic moulded bracket to the front of the car.
The front plate will then mount to this... ive had this on a previous car and had slim plates and it stuck out like dogs...
custom tune or is the 93+ suitable?
Just wanted to ask... the COBB tunes take into account the octane levels for the fuel that we use in our cars.
In Australia we have the option to pump 91 or 93 for regular unleaded and then up to a 95 or 98 for premium unleaded (in some places 103).
My...
Love the machined face with the white on the wheels and all the other white hightlights on the badges are spot on. Very tastefully done and not too overboard... very nice indeed.
Congrats on the car, definitely a standout edition of the DIB crew.
Exactly, I like the position of it too, the sto-n-sho sits too low and if you had it on an EB it would cover up the lower intake for the FMIC.
The video showing the strength of the VHB is pretty impressive. And if you ever want to remove it for any reason it's a very quick process and doesn't...
Not sure about the legalities of how yore able to display your plates. I guess as long as they're visible and on the front and back of the car then you're all good.
Personally though, the sto-n-Sho is a nice solution but I would probably prefer something like this. Looks standard and no...
Seeing all these amazing white mustangs on the forums is starting to sway me away from my first preference, the magnetic. I know if I get the White, the wife will love it too.
I think I'm going to have to start doing some renderings of the White vs the magnetic to see which color combo will...
Thanks for the step by step pictures... im very curious about the three central dash vents.
As for those of you who have the performance pack in the EB or have chosen the option for your GT, two of those are reserved for the gauge pack.
I'm hoping that somewhere down the line someone...
Love the White, was wondering if it's a glossy white or is it slightly metallic or pearlescent? I'm torn between the Oxford white and the Magnetic.
Congrats on the purchase, would love to hear more about your driving experience with the EB once you get more of a chance to stretch its legs.

Thanks for all the input so far guys, very much appreciated. So it looks like we potentially get most of the gear even though some of it is optional.
I really hope it's not true about the gauge pack, I really wanted those for the dash in my EB, even though the main gauge cluster gives you...
Performance package options, any confirmation...
Just curious if anyone who's ordered and or anyone who's spoken with a local dealer has been given any confirmation as to the actual "standard" features we'll be getting with our cars.
As mentioned above, we're all potentially going to be...
Really enjoying seeing your build progress on your car. I'm thinking of picking up an EB in magnetic as well once the mustang arrives here in Australia. Can't wait to see these cars up close and drive my own.
Keep up the great posts and also been enjoying reading mike g's experiences with his...
Love the car! The ruby red is definitely a beautiful looking colour. Would love to see it up close when we get the car here in Australia at the end of the year.
Look forward to seeing more of your posts and getting your impressions of the MAP DP, definitely looks and sounds like the business...
You could always use one of the USA forward shipping services.
They provide a USA shipping address where your goods are sent and once the goodies arrive they let you know. You pay the forwarding fee and they send it on to your AU address. They can even hold multiple items so that you can...
