  1. Mach 1 in Forum title

Ya know... you can now get the 1le package on the v6 camaro for 2017. You can get v6 love.... just need the bow tie mod. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. Mach 1 in Forum title

Based on the 2000's mach 1 formula a hopped up gt would make sense. Gt350 intake manifold and magnetic ride would be me guess. Now I would literally jump for joy if was an ecoboost model. Give me an RS spec 2.3l with magride, sticky tires and some weight savings and I'd be all over that...
  3. Smoking car? read here! (Blue smoke thread Cliff Notes)

Maybe I'm not visualizing this correctly, but if the PCV valve itself is inherently not free flowing enough they should be able to use a larger valve. If it's the opening on the box they can redesign or enlarge that. I'm not seeing how the TSB would not completely solve the issue. Have any...
  4. Full Bolt-Ons. If you could do it all over again....

Sorry about that I edited my post to reduce the confusion. That's what happens when I skim on tapatalk:doh:. I appreciate your feedback and I was actually looking into the P1.5 kit and I'm biased toward a MN company LOL.
  5. Full Bolt-Ons. If you could do it all over again....

Whoops I forgot he wasn't with map anymore. Post edited. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. Full Bolt-Ons. If you could do it all over again....

What do you think is the best set up for stock turbo? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. Full Bolt-Ons. If you could do it all over again....

Thanks for the clarification that's the smoke I was referring to. Is this still an issue for 16's did ford ever come out with a recall or TSB for the PCV system?
  8. Full Bolt-Ons. If you could do it all over again....

Hey all, So I'm coming from the FiST community and if I could do it all over I'd go with a few different manufacturers and maybe omit a couple mods. So my question for you is what would you do differently if you could build your car up again? Also what would you do for longevity? It sounds...
  9. Focus ST vs Focus RS for Daily

The last car and driver article said the RS is only more fun ST on track. For a DD go ST. Better fuel economy cheaper to run overall. On the FiST vs FoST side I drive a Fiesta ST and it is a blast on back roads but if you're doing straight bumpy pavement its better to have the longer...
  10. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

I like this except it's not just the base gt that can't compete it's the performance pack as well. Again I would be fine with it if there was an up side. If the mustang was a more relaxed more livable car then the camaro.....but it's not. Supposedly the ss is just as comfy around town and can...
  11. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

This is conjecture but what the magazines are describing are differences it would take more than $2500 to bring the mustang to the same level. However the value proposition is less important to me. What I get hung up on as a Ford fan is I can't tell someone they can buy a GT off the floor that...
  12. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

I finally read the MT car of the year article today and was pretty bummed. To the people that call foul, I'll man up and say it. GM either has better chassis engineers or they have a lot more pull in development then at Ford. The ATS has made a lot of ground and is pretty darn dialed in even...
  13. FRPP Handling Package installed and impressions

So in that Edmunds article it says it fits ecoboost models too if I remember correctly. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. Disguised S550 Mustang Spied Testing - New Variant or Refresh?

This^^ I'm not sure what power the 2.7l can put down with more aggressive tuning. However, I can't see Ford sticking an option over 350hp under the v8. The 2.3l already makes 350hp/350tq in the RS. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. Help me decide: MAP P1.5 with 3.55's, or Turbo with 3.55's.

Don't go big turbo if you want to keep the low end torque. I think someone said map is doing a stock housing turbo upgrade. That could easily be combined with the p1.5 kit down the line. It sounds like you're more focused on feel so don't get hung up on the stock size turbo not putting down 400...
  16. 2015 Mustang GT PP

First off fantastic taste, that is one awesomely optioned GT. I've been looking for a used GT for a while and there are a few more considerations you may want to take. Even when you sell a car with a loan you can still only get the depreciated value. You can check out KBB yourself but...
  17. RS ecoboosts in a Stang?

*title should be ecoboost singular, dang auto correct ;) Just wondering if anyone thinks the rs version of the 2.3 will make it's way into the mustang. While the power difference isn't that big it sounds like a much more stout motor with a better turbo. After looking at what the bolt on 2.3's...
  18. X pipe + Axle back vs Catback

Someone can chime in if I'm wrong but its my understanding the stock pipe diameter is big enough........ so there is zero performance difference between leaving in the intermediate pipe and going cat back. Two considerations: a catback install is less work (more bulky but no cutting) You...
  19. Waiting for better color choices

I don't like how for ford went so dark with all the cool colors and in your face with the warm colors. Maybe I'm weird but I'd like to see blue flame replace DIB and highland green replace guard. Ideally they would have kept grabber blue but that is a small niche. Right now I'm leaning...
  20. 7 months in and a little bit of regret.

I was cross shopping the 13/14s with the 15s. My 2c: The base 14 GT feels like a boat the track pack 14 is similar on smooth roads. The big difference to me was the 5.0 in the 15 was more rev happy. I've only driven a 13 boss a few miles but I think if you like the styling way better you'll...
