So the royal purple gear oil meets warranty standards, BUT synchromax does not, correct?

Amsoil said they don't recommend any of their products for our MT-82 trans, what did you end up going with? I was going to order royal purple since figuring that out.

So we don't HAVE to pull the drive shaft? It takes the same time to do it either way but it is easier when the shaft is pulled. (Pun unintended)

I've heard that short shifters cause the synchros to wear out prematurely, is there any truth to this? I've always been hesitant to buy a shifter for that reason. If not, just like my boomba BOV on the ST I'll have to go boomba here too! edit:looked it up. I was guided by misinformation...

You better get ahold of the owner/manager/person in charge and MAKE SURE they don't touch it!If it were me, i would have them store it and not touch ANYTHING. Leave all the paper on it, the plastic on the inside, the whole shebang!
