Ok- What do the
1999 35th Anniversary Limited Edition GT
2012 Boss 302/Laguna Seca
2013 Boss 302/Laguna Seca
2015 50th Anniversary Limited Edition GT
2015-18 GT350/R
have in common?
AND do we think the 2019/20 Bullitt will join them?
Guys— looking at a new 17 GT with an auto. My 66 Coupe was an auto, my 7 Mustangs thereafter were all sticks.
Note- this car will Never touch a track. It won't have PP. It will have a real spare tire and cd player. In short an around town car and highway cruiser (not a back road corner carver)...
Probably shouldn’t post such a teaser title but....
A DHG Bullitt appeared at the big show in So Cal at Knotts. Sadly I’m stuck up north 400 miles away. I do not have the car number.
A buddy sent me a pic by text. The car is outside in the sun, sitting on grass, NO rope around it—-you can...
Everyone - just a few Ordering basics. Not colors or options but the reality.
The Bullitt is being allocated and in smaller numbers then the GT350.
Every dealer who wanted a GT350 could join the program ($1000 for 2 yrs/2 cars total for 16/17).
This is NOT the case for the Bullitt. With the...
Aside from a few news blips it appears the first major article has shown up in a print magazine. But ya gotta be a MCA member to get one.
The new issue of Mustang Times (March) has 13 pages of articles (lots of pics) plus the cover. Great shots of the original 68 car plus an interview with...
Ok with the 2017 Mustang color chart released and Guard gone it is time to start a gossip/wish list for the 2018 50th anniversary Bullitt Mustang. Makes sense for Ford to pull the green shade (Guard) for a year before the Bullitt returns.
Predictions:
#1: Ford will continued to stick with...
Yellow Jacket interior---in the 2016 Order Guide...where are the pics/description????????? :cheers::paddle::shrug:
:coolphotos: except there ain't none........
Hmmmm Ford has released pics of the CA Special and GT350s all over the place. Now, where are the pics for the new "Yellow jacket" interior. I suspect the same as Redline but just "yellow". Still, would be nice to see some pics.
John Clor is in theory writing a book on the 2015 Mustang. It was supposed to be out in April 2015, then June, now August...maybe they are waiting on final build numbers, or delayed include a section on the 2015, or he just can't get off his lasy butt to write the thing (pics of the cover can be...
Leaving the office and heading home to throw together a bag. Heading out in the am for Anaheim and the Fabulous Fords Show at Knotts. Big 50th celebration for the GT350 planned...over 1000 Mustangs should be present...big display by Ford Racing (aka now Ford Performance) expected as they always...
If Ford does go ahead with a very limited run of 2015 50th Anniversary GT350s (550 or less-numbers pure guess based upon 1965 build numbers, but as Donson has noted a run of 350 350s also makes advertising sense) with some UNIQUE one time only items (may be as simple as blue badges, blue...
New LE buyers--did your LEs contain the signed pic from the build team?
Dealer took mine....Rachael and others from Customer Service tried for 2 months to get a replacement for but that has not happened-- I'm guessing Ford killed the pic idea somewhere during the build process.
Where is the red, white, and blue tri-bar on the 2015 Mustang?
Anyone else think it is strange that on the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang that aspect of it's heritage is missing.
The 6 cyl rear badge has the tri-bar but totally devoid of color.
With the Mustang going "international" in...
As everyone knows Ford has stayed quiet as to Model Year (MY) for the new GT350. Seems obvious with a fall build it will be a 2016 MY but Ford isn't saying and avoiding the topic so time to guess...if they are indeed going to early build or just reserved some vins for 2015 MY purposes before...
Looking for a "daily driver". It will not be abused but I won't come apart at the seems if it gets a paint chip from a rock on the freeway. The car will have a life (for me) of about 3-4 yrs. So it will be kept up and then sold in due time thus I have NO interest in ripping apart the doors...
I'm really liking this over the $500 print with the plaque. Really seems to show what the WW LE was/is all about. Haven't dug through the entire site for KB prints yet... My "first" was a WW 66 Coupe-so this print (although a 64/1/2/65) real hits a sweet spot with me...
