  4. leather quality on steering wheel

I've had ford replace the steering wheel twice now... wear and tear , more like falling apart in my hands.
  5. GT coupe and rain....equals leak!!

Wondering how many people have had this issue. I've had a water leak in my car for past 3 years and have had the windshield replaced 2x before I found this thread. Ford tried blaming me for the water. The dealer is waiting on Ford to respond as the original repair quote is over $5k to fix...
  6. Wear on the steering wheel and wear on steering wheel controls

I had the same issue with the steering wheel leather peeling. 1st time Ford replaced in under warranty, but the problem came back agin and this time it was denied. Funny thing its the top of the steering wheel peeling and i don't hold the wheel there. Might be from the sun and then it...
  7. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

Again, swearing only came in as Ford is claiming this is all my fault and yes the dealer had said a loaner car would be made available. Again don't make promise after promise and then don't come thru. Promise nothing and over deliver instead of the other way around. Ford keeps looking at me...
  8. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

And yet the sqweeky wheel gets the grease... Your point?.... This isn't a swearing issue as I don't swear at them. This is a Ford not building cars right and standing behind the products they build. 1. Trunk alilagnment off. Fords response.. My fault ( known issue here). 2. Leather seats...
  9. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

Car is garage kept , so this was the first time I got caught in the rain....got the car back now after waiting and the installer put a gash into the fender.... Fun, but hey I'm suppose to be calm now, right?
  10. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

Fuck ford. Knowing the car needs to have the window replaced and sit a day, the dealer only had aDodge Ram truck for me waiting. what the hell? And they wanted my insurance to cover it... F no and I'm done with Ford. It's just bad experience after bad experience..... Done.
  11. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

I am polite to the service people and that seems to be the problem. Each time to get things fixed, I had to get a Ford service adviser from these boards involved.... Funny thing is i hate that but this has always been the process... So for being nice and polite, i got shoved aside and told...
  12. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

Thats the problem . Each dealer is getting worse. Seems like its a Ford issue more than anything and that is ruining the experience of buying a Ford. I've been an Apple user since 2000 and the excellent customer service keeps me from ever looking at android. FORD COULD LEARN A THING OR TWO...
  13. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

No need to step back and take a breath. Maybe Ford needs to warranty a car that has 17,000 miles and stop grilling their customer every time. All the etching and deals are on their window. It is like this with every warranty issue i have had. Best one is the trunk is misaligned and scratching...
  14. Auto Transmission metal clanking sound

I can't believe this is still an issue. Ford know's that the front flange is bad and the quality of their driveline is crap. It's only "normal" if you build crap cars.
  15. Leaking windshield and Ford response.

Anyone one here have a leaking windshield. Mine has been leaking from the driver side add leaking onto the floor mat. All this time I wondered why my floor mat would get wet but never knew from where. Last week I got stuck in a downpour and saw it pouring in. The dealer needs to get ford...
  16. Auto Transmission metal clanking sound

Replacing the front flange will take care of the clunk... I was one of the first last year to go thru this... First drive shaft was replaced , then rear flange and then finally front. Once the front was replaced it has been 10,000 miles of smooth sailing.
  17. Auto Transmission metal clanking sound

Ive had mine fixed for over 1,000 miles now. the dealer replaced the front flange and the problem has gone away. Ive posted before but people have missed it.
  18. Auto Transmission metal clanking sound

1st they replaced the drive shaft... 2nd they replaced the rear flange. Issue came back 1,000 miles later. 3rd time they replaced the front flange and so far 1,000 miles free of problem. That is all they did and it seems to have finally fixed the issue-... for now. Looks like the flange...
  19. Auto Transmission metal clanking sound

To all those with this clunk noise please see this: Have the dealer replace both front and rear flange. If they only do the rest the noise will come back after 500-1,000 miles. Since I have had both replaced the noise is now gone.... Replace :front and rear flange on drive shaft for fix.
  20. Pony Logo in Sync Start up gone.

Update: With my car being back in for other issues the dealer was able to fix the sync and get the start up logo back too....
