These were pulled out of my 17 GT when I installed Steeda parts . Probably have less than 15K miles on them . I was keeping them in case I wanted to stock the car , sold car a while ago and trying to get rid of these ( actually my wife is )
Only stipulation is you have to take all the stuff ...
Set of OEM silver PP wheels with TPMS sensor . OEM Pirelli P-Zeros The fronts are ok , the rears are not great , one has plug and 4/32 and other is at 3/32 . date code is 2216
These are the wheels that came on my 2017 Mustang PP , maybe less than 10K miles on them .
$800 / OBO . Located in...
Set of Apex with Hankook RS4s , these have been through a few track days 7/32" left , definitely good for another weekend or 3 . Motorcraft TPMS sensors installed. These just linked right up to my car , no training needed . Tires are 1217 date code. These tires have always been stored in the...
What are your dealers asking for order deposits ?
I had one quote for MSRP with a $5000 deposit . That seems a bit much. This is even a dealer I bought a car from before ( Explorer )
I am so upset right now , more of the fact that I am missing an incredibly nice day at the track today then the car . I was signed up for the whole weekend at the track and hit a deer on the way back to the hotel after Saturday .
UGH :(
Anyone want to guess the estimate ? ETA ... Estimate is...
Strange question , usually I do my work on a 2 post lift . I may not have access to that in the next 2 weeks, and my Quickjack is not here yet.
I have jacking rails and put my car up before on 4 jackstands. Jack the middle and put stands in front and back, then do other side.
I need to to my...
I just had both mine replaced under warranty . I know these have been an issue and people have said the Timken or Moog bearings were better , but I figured installed free for now is a good deal ;)
I noticed they are on the G revision number , anyone know if these are "better" now then the -A ...
I am running Apex 18x10s and looking for some HPDE tires ( 7/10th experienced novice type driver ) I'd prefer to run 275/40/18s . So far I have Firehawk Indys , Bridgestone S007 , or Falken FK510s as ideas ?
Go with any one of those ? or other suggestions ?
Posting in HPDE section because my car it tracked a 6-8 days a year + AutoX
PP rotor size, are these any good ? Not a super advanced driver , Advance Auto is doing 25% now and I can get a pair for like $167
If I was going to change my rear brakes , and use a different compound ( currently stock ) , do I go about bedding the same way as the fronts ?
It seems like a silly question , since there seems to be no other way to do it , but it seems like I would have to overcook the fronts to get the...
As I am at the track more and more and have another car for a DD , I am wondering if I should get a C7 , or buy a new set of tires and a diff cooler for the Mustang and send it .....
What to do ?
Did my first HPDE in the Mustang this past weekend . I have 4 HPDE days prior in an e36 BMW ( 1993 325i ) .
Tires were 275/40/18 RE-11s (square) that had seen a few trackdays from @gtorpedo on Apex 10" wide wheels . They warmed up quick on a hot day and gave some decent feedback . Cold temps...
Is there anyway to get my car up on 4 jackstands ? Or should I just buy the Quickjack ?? :)

Doing my first extened 30 minute sessions in the Mustang . Just wondering what people were usgin for the fluid ?
Any friction modifier with the 75W-140 ?
For the life of me I can't find the thread. Someone had posted what the bleed instructions were from the Ford service manual .
I have read that the bleed order is ( the same as all cars ) furthest from MC to neared , RR , LR , RF , LF . Since we have 2 bleeders in the front though I read it's...
I had the suspension mods listed below ( sport springs , camber plates, etc...) I am now seeing inner tire wear on my front left tire .
Wondering if the springs could of settled throwing the alignment off ?
I've also tracked it (lightly) an had it on a skid pad , that can do it too I suppose...
In case you are not familiar with trackcross its sorta HPDE (it's on a track) and sorta Autocross .
We run about 40-60% of a lap of Summit Point Shenandoah , timed.
The forecast for Nov 11th at Summit point looks to be mid 30s morning to mid 40s in the afternoon .
My tire choices are ...
After I lowered my car , my rear suspension was -2.5 on the left and like -1.8 on the right after the alignment . It's all "in spec" -2.5 is barely .
The car sees a little bit of track/auto-x use and was wondering if my next purchase should be some rear camber mod of some sort ?
Do I need it ...
