To be completely honest, I really can't tell a difference.

Just do custom. I had stock mufflers replaced with M Magna packs, replaced resenator with x-pipe and got great sound for under $500.00. I love the sound of my V6.

The V6 does not come with a sound tube. However, I just added one that I bought from a guy that took it off his 5.0. It added a little sound, but it's hard to tell because have a custom exhaust with Magna packs, x-pipe and resenator delete.

There is a bit of a drone, and yes, it is a bit louder at cruise speed, but I have to admit that I enjoy the interior sound.
