That's such BS. I'm gonna contact a tech to see what kind of hack we can get for this. More so, I'm putting in a massive complaint to Ford through my website.
I was waiting for this comment, and then at the end say, "But while we're on the topic, I did hit 140 the other day."
That would have been so much funnier.
Does anyone know how to disable this? It's so annoying when I have the keys in my pocket, get out of the car with the engine on, and the horn beeps twice. People always look thinking I'm honking at them... or trying to get attention for my brand new car.
When I had my '08 Bullitt, V6 Mustangs used to try and race me (I still don't know why), an S197 GT gave me the finger the day I bought it, and the only Mustangs to wave the entire time having my Bullitt were GT500s... Try and figure all that out!
As far as this '15, no one has waved back yet...
I'm not saying you have to pretend you're making a FnF movie. But you did buy a sports car, not a Taurus.
And most of the people that don't drive as well would be far better suited for summer tires over all season rubber anyway. The summers will have a higher grip threshold and overall daily...
That was the main reason Ford had them as standard equipment on the Mustangs for so many years. They're typically less expensive, last 40-60,000 miles, and they have good tread wear and decent performance in all seasons, hence the name.
However, when you dig deep and realize that, for the...
Again, all season rubber should never be put on a sports car. Have winters and summers. I never said you had to only use summer tires. But you bought a sports car, and all season tires just ruin so much of the experience.
Where in NC do you live? If you live in the center or eastern part of the state then there's no reason you should bring up all seasons. When we get snow and ice it's nearly impossible to drive anything safely. If you live in the mountains you shouldn't even consider all season rubber, as they're...
