Yeah after a week of 90+ temps and the car sitting in the garage, I came out to drive the car and the frame had completely fallen off the car. The adhesive to the bumper and the tape part had disintegrated. It lasted fine until the summer heat peeled it right off.
6 months, 2000 miles later and the bracket is starting to come off. I'll need to either drill holes for a more solid mount or go with a different bracket.
Could you post some pictures once you do the install? I've seen the videos and stuff for the Redline but not really any for the MRT struts. Curious to see how they install with no drilling compared to the Redline.
I do use the same key. I guess I haven't cared enough to figure out the exact conditions it fails. Maybe the OCD part of me will come out and I'll document it.
I found sporadic operation with mine so I ended up turning it off. For me it wouldn't return to the correct position when I'd enter the car and start it up. It might have something to do with me not putting my seat belt on or something else. Right now I just use the #1 and #2 memory settings...
Here are some pics. Had a good first weekend with the car. Had my first fishtail with the car. One of the $63 license plate lights went out (or was out when I got it) so I'm headed back to the dealer to get that fixed.
It was about 18 days for transit. The transit route was from Detroit to Gibson, IN to Glasgow, MT to Seattle, WA then to Portland, OR. I was expecting the car to branch off at Spokane, WA and go via Tri Cities and through the gorge like the grain trains do, but nope.
