  1. March 2015 Mustang Sales (and vs. Camaro & Challenger)

One thing that makes these sales results very impressive, that I also think a lot of people are forgetting, is that Challenger had a big refresh for the 2015 MY and yet the Mustang is still crushing it. I have yet to test drive an S550 but I have been behind the wheel of a 2015 Chally R/T with...
  2. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

I know JPC prefers the stock manifold, for previous years, due to the extra torque. Didn't realize that the CJ manifold lost torque over the stock one as well. I still have the stock manifold in mine but have been considering the CJ one for awhile.
  3. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

Thanks for the link! I knew they worked for prior years has stated but assumed the same, if not better results, for the updated coyote. Guess that's what I get for assuming....
  4. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

Not to sound like an ass but I really can't imagine anyone implying that. The CJ manifold offers the higher HP of the boss manifold without the loss of torque.
  5. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

Fully understand that looks can be deceiving. But I know a lot of R&D went into the Boss and CJ manifolds. It is common knowledge amongst 5.0 owners that the Boss manifold will only hurt your performance unless you have the proper supporting mods.
  6. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

The intake manifold looks like the same one out of the '15 GT. Kinda surprised it's not equipped with a Boss 302 style, or better yet the Cobra Jet intake manifold. We all know the GT intake manifold is tuned to make peak horse power at 6,500 rpm, and is really restricted past that. Seems weird...
  7. Ford Racing and ROUSH Deliver 600+ HP with New 2015 Mustang Supercharger Kit

Thanks for backing me up! The twin screw (Whipple) will always be more efficient than the roots (Roush) blowers. There's plenty of videos with 2.9 Whipple Coyotes with less power out running 2.3 TVS Coyotes. I'm shocked because the '11-'14 Ford Racing kits were 2.3 Whipple blowers. Whipple...
  8. Ford Racing and ROUSH Deliver 600+ HP with New 2015 Mustang Supercharger Kit

I still wish Ford Racing would have gone with the new front mouth Whipple unit. Would be nice get one of those and be able to keep your factory warranty.
  9. 2015 King Cobra Mustang (Concept) Revealed!

Why the passenger seat and side mirrors for a drag strip only car? The previous Cobra Jets didn't have mirrors, not sure about the passenger seat.
